If Floyd beats Pac, how much credit will he really get?

According to all his nuthuggers, he shouldn't get much credit. Pacquiao is tailor made for him and has all the physical disadvantages. By the sounds of it, it'll be another Mayweather vs. JMM.

I'd give both Pacquiao and Mayweather all the credit, whoever won. They are both incredible fighters and I am unsure exactly what to expect for this fight.

If you guys, floydtoys mostly, think Pac is on PED's and obviously only achieved what he has achieved through PED's, why should Floyd get credit for beating him when he's not on PED's?

I don't think he would receive anymore credit then he received for beating Shane. Manny has already been beat, despite the great debates on who's better between the two. Manny has also ducked Shane, and in my opinion who he should of fought to make a strong statement to Mayweather. On paper Mayweather shows to be the better fighter, skill wise Mayweather shows to be better at that as well. If they should fight, based on previous opponents Manny will be the underdog, with most people expecting Floyd to win. So when he wins, the victory will only solidify what most of us already knew, that Mayweather is the better fighter.

Mayweather would get credit from me for beating Pac, I gave him credit for beating Mosley. Pac would be a great win for Mayweather, it doesn't matter how he wins or how close it is, it would still be great in my eyes.

Pac over Mayweather though, would be one of the best wins of all time, it would be legendary.

 

this is so dumb really...Mayweather and every other fighter deserves "credit" for beating anyone...Floyd deserves credit for all 41 of his wins, this one is no different

A lot of credit for fighting the best fighter of his era and even more credit for winning. Floyd's legacy would be improved immensely should he sign to face Manny and actually wins.
