If Floyd beats Pac, how much credit will he really get?

I mean how often do you get two ATG's close to their primes fighting at the same weight? It's stupid to say that hey...Floyd is the better fighter on paper so if he wins he gets no credit...therefore it doesn't matter if the fight takes place or not.

Make no mistake. Pacquiao is his greatest challenge. It has huge historical ramifications. He might well win. But he still has to prove it like he did with Mosley.

yeah... if pac will be blood tested a day before the fight and psychologically affected, then yes, it will be a bad win for floyd since pac is not 100%.

Beating a "one dimensional fighter, no defence, off balance, weak punches, weakend, without the drug and who have lost before..." cant be a good win for floyd.

This isnt my word, this is comming straight from the *****s.

Surely a #1 P4P fighter like floyd and his fan shouldnt be too proud when he beats a grade B fighter like PAC who only achieved his success though drugs and cherry picking shot, weight drained and fighting grade B.

Now all of the sudden this is going to be a great win (possibly the greatest win) for floyd? why?

MY OPINION is that Money has already sealed his legacy as one of the most technical pure boxers in hostory WITHOUT PAC.. However, I would give him credit if he beats Pac which is a pretty good fighter.. I wouldn't rate it as his best win because I think that Pac is actually overated for various reasons... ODHL-weight drained, Hatton- Rocked by May,looked like **** in his next bout before Pac, Cotto- Poor ******* was plastered with cement from Margo... With that being said.. I guess I don't hold Pac on a pedistal like some of you.. He is good but not as good as folks make him out to be.. I c him as VERY beatable.. Like someone said earlier... His style is so wrong for Money... If the fight happens I am expecting to see a one-sided clinic... Anything less and I'll actually be suprised.. If Pac wins, biggest upset ever...

In th end, you have to give Mayweather credit regardless. The last time I checked, Ring Magazine had Pacquiao ahead of Mayweather on the p4p rankings. Pacquiao was also named fighter of the decade. So if Mayweather beats Pacquiao, no matter what anyone says about Pacquiao, you would have to admit that Mayweather is the best fighter on the planet as well as the best fighter of his era.

exhibit A of Floyd's win being tarnished by his fans before it happens:patsch

Snosnowski beating Vitali Klitschko is the biggest goddamn upset ever. Not the number 1/2/1A/1B p4p fighter in the world beating the 1/2/1A/1B p4p fighter in the world.

LOL of course Ill give him credit.

It just funny how some of the floyd fans think that PAC is a crap fighter and its a very easy fight. So if he was that crap, a beating from floyd shouldnt be a great win...

    That is all

It doesn't matter what fans say. The fans said Mayweather was ducking Mosley and was scared to fight him. That didn't stop some of these same fans from saying Mosley was shot after Mayweather beat his ass. Roach said Mayweather's legs are shot. Should we discredit the win if Pac pulls it off because of what Roach said before the fight?

I don't think anyone is saying Pacquiao is a crap fighter. I think people are just saying Mayweather will beat him decisively.

Absolutely not.I've said Roach is just talking ****.They're the 2 best fighting each other, a respectable fan wouldn't trash either's win.

Basically. Its not like you can pick on one hand how many dudes out there will beat him... Floyd and Pac both will beat everyone else.. ****.. they have.. :rofl Besides maybe Margarito or PW. This is two of the top going at each other. I just think Floyd is better and he can handle whatever it is Pac brings to the table. Pac, however will have no answers for Floyd other than throwing more punches and walking into more counters.
