If Floyd Beats Pac How Much Credit Will You Give Him?

Nope, that would make him P4P1 again. From there I'd like to see him fight some WW's but I'm thinking he would retire again, or maybe go with a rematch depending on how close the fight is, and if the money talks.

 

Why? Does fighting and beating Pacquiao changes the fact that he opted to retire instead of fighting real 147 lbers ? Why fight JMM now and Pac later at a catch weight when Cotto. Mosley and Clottey are lording it out at 147 . . . which is his real weight class. :deal

Floys isnt going to beat Pac because of size, he'll beat him because of skill. And PBF would have throughly smashed Pac at 130.

 

Why does it have to be there? He didn't fight Oscar at 140-143?

I have been shitting on Floyd all nite but if he beats Pac then I will still give him his respect but I get your point 100%. Why flirt in 47 for 3 yrs if you are not going to fight the guys? I guess just to beat someone and become a champion. Man I wish divisions went back to unified champs because division hopping is so overrated.

 

Why do you care if he fights "true" welterweights anymore? He's not the champ of the division, he's not holding the division hostage like people said before. If he can make 140 or 143, then let him take on the huge challenges there. Cotto and Mosley would do the same if they wouldn't pass out dead trying to make 143.

 

I'll give him no respect because the only way he beats Pacman is by cheating. There simply is no way that Floyd beats that man right now. No way. Pac will KO Floyd in less than 8 rounds if they ever fight. Even with his defense, he will get beat up because Manny doesn't take a punch and retreats, he gets hit and hits you back, and that's something that PBF ain't ever seen.

 

I'm asking why is it so important for him to fight Floyd at that weight...he went up and fought Oscar who is bigger than Floyd.

 

Depends on the weight.140- 143, yes, it would be an amazing thing. If Pac has to go to 147 then no.

 

Can't argue with these guys on here man. I have been saying let's just wait to see what Floyd does with Marquez before we press the issue and people on here still think he is a hot sunday dinner on here. I mean this guy has not fought in a year and a half and they are still sold on his wins 2-3 years ago against a guy that has been beasting people for the last year now. And natural bigger people at that and knocking them out and making them quit on stools.
