I haven't posted on here in a long while, but I still come by regularly to read the forum. However, I apologize if this has already been posted before.

I am just wondering, if Floyd does beat Pacman, and let's say he beats him convincingly via a stoppage or a one sided dominant points win. Will he receive credit for it?

It seems to me that before this fight was announced, there were many many people claiming that Floyd had been ducking him for a long time and avoided Manny when he was in his prime. (which i think he probably did), and that the fight would now be almost meaningless. However, as soon as the fight was announced the mood changed to the point where now, Manny seems to almost be a favourite or at least level with Floyd in terms of who people think will win.

Because of this, I expect that if Floyd does win easily, it will then be a case of "he fought an old Manny" etc etc.

For the Pacman fans out there who really believe Manny will win, will you give Floyd credit if he dominates your boy?

I want Pacman to win, but I expect that Floyd will dominate the last six rounds and win a fairly comfortable decision.

I'll give Floyd full credit if he wins clearly in my card and vice versa.

But if Manny is good enough for people to think he will beat Floyd, those same people who believe that need to accept that Floyd beat at least a decent Manny. If he was that shot, would you still be picking him over Floyd?

EVERYONE that was still claiming he was scared or ducking and wouldn't sign or would fight Cotto next ALL need to give him FULL credit. Plain and simple.

It's Floyd Mayweather we're talking about.

No matter what happens there will be at least a highly vocal and insanely emotional 33% of people that will spend hours of their lives everyday attempting in every way to discredit what he has done to the fullest. It's their full time job; they are that passionate with hatred toward this one man that they have never met.

    it depends

if Pac looks shot to ****, weakened, blood drained, riddled with cramps, calve, sight problems just like it looks like it's gonna be, no I aint' giving him ****

If Pac looks in good shape and healthy then Floyd deserves credit

no full credit, ofc. as prime Pac doesn't exist anymore and Floyd ducked that fighter

but a 50-60% credit might be due, depending of how Pac looks

Oh but if Pac beats Floyd, he gets 100% credit idiot?

Floyd = way more shot than Pac...... no credit for Pac if he wins imo.

May = shot!!! 38 years old man!
