^ People still like Hopkins more than Floyd because Floyd shows so little respect to fellow fighters. At least Hopkins comes across as a genuine guy, Floyd is just a fake, insecure punk as far as I'm concerned. I know the likes of Nallege, Pimp C etc will jump on these kinds of comments and call me a hater but I really don't understand why Floyd has to behave the way he does.

it's hard to give credit to a greatly skilled fighter with his greatest performances being vs. fighters that were too old or too small and not in his division. i think jmm is a real special fighter regardless of the division and despite being the smaller, older guy, i'd still give floyd props for beating someone as skilled and tough as jmm in a brutal fashion. why floyd couldn't go down to a catchweight to fight the featherweight just really shows how afraid he is of cotto and clottey

I don't even think it would send a message to Manny.
The thing is I think WMM will at least rock FMJr. Though it is questionable to say he would win. FMJr is to much of a punk to fight. Which is what JMM needs.

I still wanted to see P. Williams
and FMJr fight. I think Williams has the correct style to beat FMJr. Which is a long jab against a shorter foe.

Manny might do it because he has speed
in both hands and feet with power to back it up.

Quit with the excuses *****. PBF would have owned Chico regardless of weight place or time. He was the superior boxer and a stylistic nightmare for Chico to boot he beats him 100 out of 100 times end of discussion. PBF put on one of the best boxing exhibitions of this era and you can't give the man an ounce of credit.

You don't understand PBF because you haven't followed his career. When PBF went to the 96 Olympics and brought back the bronze he tried to play the good guy role but he wasn't well recieved. He went out put on clinics against the likes of G.Hernandez and Chico and nobody gave a ****. He saw media darlings like Gatti and Oscar get all the money and fame but didn't have half his talent and he knew he could beat them. He turned into a bad guy when he fought Gatti saying he was a D fighter and he was going to expose Gatti he sold that fight brilliantly. I was here at ESB at the time and people said Gatti was too big for PBF and would KO him. PBF only went on to put on one of the best demolition jobs seen in this era after destoying a hero like Gatti. He became an instant bad guy hated by many and loved by few. The bad guy role worked because he had the talent to back it up and he got the mega fights that he wanted so badly earlier in his career.

PBF has not talked down to JMM like he did with Oscar and Hatton.:deal He didn't like those guys it was easy to see. PBF has no ill will towards JMM and respects him.

Don't pull that bull**** with me. PBF features heavily in my DVD collection but the fact is he ran from Baldomir.

I know more about PBF's career than you'd like to believe. I can't really be bothered getting into a big debate with a nuthugger but if Floyd was so secure with his legacy he'd stop talking **** and just contribute to the scene rather than take from it.

He called himself the GOAT but we both know Pavlik would end his career so he has no right to even mention himself in the same breath as SRL. He's a punk for doing so.
