Does he take the P4P King status, and bump Pac to #2, or does he need to prove himself again to be #1??

For someone who hates PBF as much as you do. You sure make a lot of threads about him.

Whats the statute of limitations on that?

How long does the time have to pass before a fighter's p4p ranking is withdrawn and he is unable to reclaim it in the event of a comeback?
Like for example if Joe was to decide to come back in a few months he surely would slot back into his no 2 or 3 spot. But would Floyd?

I say he doesnt bump him off either way..By the time Floyd comes back Manny would have beaten both Hoya and Hatton in a more convincing fashion.

    I'd say no.

When he retired he voluntarily relinquished his "P4P king" status.

He's gonna have to work his way back up, and when I say that, I mean, fight and defeat Manny Pacquiao.

He is presently out of the standings so he may have to start from number 3 to 5 slots . . . don't know . . . not sure but definitely he's not gonna get the #1 position immediately.

#2. He has to prove himself again. He last fought in December 2007.

He'd have to beat Pac or convincingly beat Shane to have that title back!

he`d have to fight before they ranked him, cant see them knocking manny off especially if he beats hatton!

Disagree...JMM is #2 and he has done more than Floyd since Floyd retired..I'd place Floyd towards #7 or #8....If Floyd beat Pac or convincingly beat Shane I'd place him #1 without a doubt!

If he does come back I'd assume it would be to fight Manny and I think FLoyd would win that fight.

he'd need a victory over aither cotto, pac or mosely. without any fights he'd return at number 2 but a win of any of those 3 would bump him.

I think if he beats Pacquaio he should be number 1. I dont think for Hatton he should be number 1. but if Mayweather waits almost 2 years and beat P4P then I think he gets the #1 spot. right now he isnt. and I dont see himj coming back because of ppl like you Uii
