What will you say then? And i don't want to hear he will never do it... This thread is about what if he does do it, what would your reaction be?

They will say he still needs to fight Cotto/Williams, and Shane the next 3 weekends in a row. They never quit man. Floyd could TKO King Kong and somebody would say he's ducking Godzilla.

Uh, well, hard to be absolutley sure because it's what Margarito would go on to do AFTER the loss that would probably define him AND what Cotto does next.

But it would be a very, very impressive win over the world's #1 welter.

My reaction would be the same as it always is. I don't ever expect Floyd to lose.

I think Margo and Williams should fight again then fight Floyd to settle who is #1 in the division. Then Floyd should be left alone if he wins against the winner

    :rofl

I hope Floyd does decide at some point to come out of retirement.
But he would have to work himself up to a fight Vs. the top dog.
I doubt Arum would give PBF a shot against anyone right now.

Floyd's best bet would be going after Berto and reclaiming his WBC and bring something to the table.
    (Just speaking real talk)

LOL, yep thats exactly what would happen.

Floyd's persona not his skills turns most people off. He still wouldn't get credit. The reaction would be, "Cotto was overrated, green, blah, blah, blah".

That said as a Marg hater I want to extend my congratulations to him for a well fought fight where he showed will, perseverance and just all out toughness.

He would be in my top 5 ever. And i'm not even joking.

If he went on to beat someone legit at 154 like Dzinziruk he'd be the ATG best ever.

You can bet your house they WILL fight again. As long as they are in the same division. Margarito will want it. But NOT to earn a fight at Mayweather. Margarito does NOT need to avenge some loss to fight Floyd next, if Floyd wanted it.

IF Floyd is gonna fight ever again, then it's against Margarito. After all that has happened between them, it makes sense even more now.

Margarito is the Champ now, he has options, he can actually tell Floyd and Paul to fight eachother and he will face the winner, he is the man on Top and should act as such, but Honestly he is a True champion he will fight either of those guys.
He wont sugar coat his career and cherry pick like Floyd.

I would be very surprised, but at the same time I would give him all the credit in the world.
