If floyd decided to face cotto... what would you say?

He'd get more respect for beating Cotto than he would for beating Williams even though Williams is a better fighter IMO, I don't see it happening though as I don't think Arum is ready to cash out on Cotto just yet.

 

If it aint Pac of course everyone includin myself will be pissed & rightfully so. But this wouldn't be a bad fight. I don't think it would be a very close fight. Should have came off after Cotto vs Mosely, but better late than never. At least it wouldn't be a fight we've already seen.

 

I'd like to wait about 2 fights against good competition to see if Cotto is the same, this fight should have happened after Cotto beat Mosley.

 

I'd say I'd rather have seen it before he fought Margo. It would be a good fight but I could see Mayweather beating him convincingly at this stage.

 

arum would never put him in the ring with floyd...even if he was ready to cash out on cotto...he still wouldnt do it against floyd out of spite....

i find it hilarious when clowns talk about floyd never fighting cotto years ago...like he was afraid of him.....pretty sure cotto was in ac to watch floyd batter gatti...he never wanted any part of him and arum would have never put him in the ring with floyd....thats a reality

i like cotto alot...been to 3 of his fights...and while floyd is my favorite fighter....id say floyd would carve him up real nice....and the floyd haters/*******s would crucify him for this fight too....just like after shane "well it was nice...but cotto was gassed...he was passed it....this fight should have happened 2-3 years ago"...blah blah....."hes beating up manny leftovers"....lol

 

Why the hell did you wait so long, I would have favored Cotto in this fight if it were earlier

 

Arum wants no part of Mayweather with any of his Top Rank fighters.

Arum will never do it though! He knows Floyd will expose Pacquiao!!!

 

I'd say it was a couple years too late, but I'd take it. Credible fight, but won't go anywhere near erasing the black mark on his legacy should he never fight Pac. Nothing could really, unless he beats a Klitschko. He really needs to man up and fight Pac

 

I'd give Floyd a lot of props for more than one reason. First...it would be a great fight and a legit challenge. But also it's a very winnable fight wiht great financial benefits. I think it would be a great fight where Floyd wins clearly.

As others have already said, the fight is 2 years too late but I would still look forward to is.

Mayweather would win but it would still be an interesting match up.

 

I'd like to see him fight Martinez over Cotto but wouldn't be dissapointed if he fought Cotto instead.

 

Would be a good fight if the Pac fight didn't happen.

Because Steward and cotto knows floyd would never fight them, they'd be wasting their time.
