If floyd decided to face cotto... what would you say?

well, i'd rather him fight pac of course but i'd still watch it. I think it would be interesting fight because the new more mobile cotto might force floyd to use his legs, which is something we havent seen in a while.

Alot of people TOTALLY FORGET that floyd tried to fight Cotto aat 140 and Bob Arum said no Cotto was not ready for floyd I dont get the whole fighter has to be ready for a fighter when both fighters have the around the same amount rounds, fights etc. as each other, but the floyd vs Cotto at 147 after the Hatton is the ONLY fight that should have truly happened all these people who say there is this bevy of other fighters floyd should have face(if you notice the list gets bigger and the name changes every year)but no one ever seems to remember when floyd was coming up Begging to fight guys. that was the reason he originally had to move up in weight because contray to people beliefs he did WIPE 130 clean 135 fought the absolute best fighter in castillo in his First fight at that weight no one was saying the whole well he wasnt fighting at his best weight or any of the other reasons people use when a fighter puts on a bad performance only people argue is that he got beat, but then they totally forget the immediate rematch

Well Paquiao fought a few of Floyd's leftovers, but he didn't take the **** for it Floyd would for doing the same.

I'd kind of like to see Cotto/Mayweather though. Cotto deserves the big paycheck.

 

Cotto gets big paychecks whether or not he fights Floyd. But yeah, I do agree.. he's a loyal boxer we all can count on, he deserves more mega paydays. :smoke

I really don't think Arum will ever let any of his guys fight Floyd. Cotto would have to be out of Top Rank for it to happen. Cotto himself will fight anyone of course.

 

I'd be fine with it. It would be a bit of a letdown if Pac vs PBF isnt eventually made though.

This is true, Arum tends to use his latino fighters as in-house material, next up is going to be Margarito or someone closely knit to Top Rank.

I doubt he likes Latinos. I am pretty sure there are quotes linking him to saying something pretty racist about Blacks, so it's probably the same with Latinos. He's just laughing his ass of while making that money.

Most promoters are likely scum, but he seems a lot more scummier than most to me.
