If floyd destroys pacquiao will floyd be recognized as an OK boxer?

That's my question...if floyd wipes the floor with pacman as it looks likely will, and if floyd ktfo pac, will floyd then be seen as a decent fighter with OK skills who could maybe hold his own against some other fighters with similarly average abilities and accomplishments?

 

we're talking about floyd koing and dominating pac...do you think he will finally be recognized as a passable fighter?

 

hmmm....seems like most of the respondents to this thread think floyd will not even be remembered for his boxing ability.

i'm wondering if they're just going off his OK, but unremarkable accomplishments or are they talking about his average and unremarkable skills in the ring?

 

dude, i'm on your side....i hate floyd too. i agree with you he's nothing but an excon with some decent skills....think of all the fighters he ducked. not even ONE top fighter did he agree to face..unlike ggg and some other guys who have faced nothing but great fighters....and when fmj was FORCED to fight one or two top guys, all he did was run all night. hardly landed a punch... i have no idea how come he gets such big ppv numbers and why he's the face of boxing and all that....and the thing is, he had so much potential...and he let it all go to waste. very sad, really.

but maybe there is still some hope for him...he still might be able to salvage some modicum of respect for his disappointing, under-achieving career.

maybe if he ko's pacman he will finally be recognized as a decent fighter.

 

less than a month away now...will floyd finally prove that he's not a bum?
