    so why is Hatton not treated the same for not fighting Witter because he doesnt like him and doesnt want him to make money off him ?????

    If Floyd was like **** Cotto I dont like him personally and I will never fight him...he would get ripped by the media.

    Not fighting a top guy in your weight class when you're the champ, because you "don't like him", is a rather weak excuse IMO. Just like Floyd's "there's not enough money in a Cotto fight", which I view as nonsense, although I really feel he's saying "there's not enough money RIGHT NOW in a Cotto fight as opposed to what it can be a little later".

    Great gif...and avy....but anyway I agree...I think its a lame excuse especially when Mayweather just gave you the biggest payday of your career.

    I also agree with Floyd....I think a Cotto fight makes more sense after Cotto beats a couple more people...that fight is huge...I say let it build up...I feel Cotto would get pasted right now...hes not ready to beat Mayweather..challenge him..yes..beat him ...no.

    Hatton does get treated the same by intelligent objective fans - we know he's a phoney - but don't expect that from the British 'media' - they're basically cheerleaders.

    wethere cotto beats floyd is a different question, you dont have to find a challenger to beat you to make it a good fight.

    Certainly, if Hatton keeps going at 40, he'll have to fight Witter.

    I've liked Hatton but find that reasoning to be utter ****. What better way to shut up an ******* you dont like than by KO??

    Especially when Witter said hed sign a "winner takes all" fight or a 90/10 fight.

    Hattons scared of the guy..its obvious.

    I havent seen Witter fight much well actually just the Harris fight. But yes he looks like he would give Hatton hell. I always thought Hatton was way too overhyped. He had a big win over Kosta Tzyu and everyone acts like hes P4P material. Hatton was exposed by Collazo and Urango.

    I think Witter is too strong for him and Hatton knows it.

    I think Paulie is too slick for him and he knows it..thats why hatton wants to fight Gavin Rees.
