champions and p4p kings should be fighting top opposition.. not who they want to.. brook is the best fighter right now so floyd should fight him. i wouldn't mind watching him fight thurman because thurman is dangerous. bradley and khan pose the most stylistic problems for floyd but khan's a f*g i don't want him to get the fight. so it's pretty much just down to bradley thurman or brook. brook poses the least amount of stylistic problems for floyd but he can beat everyone else so that's the only fight that makes sense IMO.
He can't retire now he is contracted for 1 more fight. Hes at the end of his career and is 38 year's old with with a 48-0 record. If he wants to pick a bum next that's up to him. He probably would retire now if he could.
Here's my picks for him in order 1) Brook - currently the most credible welterweight, not because of his resume, but because he holds the IBF strap and is a unification waiting to happen. 2) Thurman - Dangerous welterweight with some skill. I only give him a punchers chance because I think he's not skilled enough and too green but it'd be a good fight to watch. 3) Bradley - Highly credible opponent who's been having a rough run. Stylistically, I think he makes the fight sloppy but gets beaten pretty clearly. 4) Khan - He MIGHT pose a threat stylistically but he's unintentionally proven time and time again that he's just not elite and doesn't possess that special "something" that elite fighters have.
Legacy wise.....Thurman is the logical choice since he'l likely be a top 5ish p4p fighter in the next couple yrs. Him winning titles at WW and LMW and possibly even MW will greatly add to Floyd overall career tally of conquered talent
