Then who would be the ideal opponent for him?

Martinez, Canelo.. these fights would keep the public interest still going because their the next best fighters after Pacquiao, if he fought someone like Guerro there would be a public outcry.

I've always wanted to see Floyd fight Berto.

Hell, i'd LOVE to see him face Margarito @ 154.

he should win comfortably vs cotto at 154. he could meet sergio there afterwards. i don't think the fight with pac is happening at any point. arum has already made it clear with his excuses. plus, the two don't seem to want it that much anyway.

If Floyd doesn't fight Pac after the Cotto fight.. *****s will still give him millions to beat up on Robert Guerrero.

    EDIT: At 154lbs!

After Mayweather Vs. Cotto, expect another year long layoff.
(Besides the stint in the pinta)

    *IF Floyd wins.

Didn't Floyd come out of retirement to save boxing? Did he do that by bringing JMM up 3 weight classes and putting a beating on him? Oh wait, that was just a tune-up... To shake off ring rust... So he could take on... Mosley? Nah... Mosley didn't deserve a fight with "Money", because his tooth hurt the previous time Floyd asked so Floyd was forced to fight DLH instead. :|
Fine, let's do it as a stay-busy fight before the real fight that's coming up. Right after a vacation. All these tune-ups and stay-busys, like, 2 in 2 years, they have exhausted poor little Floyd. But after, the real fight against the dangerous, the murderous, CHAMPION OF THE AGES... VICTOR ORTIZ! :verysad

Seriously? How can anyone other than complete Floyd buttlickers be happy with his comeback? :huh Shouldn't he have stayed retired?

:lol: your timeline is shitty as ****. do u follow boxing? Floyd fought JMM AFTER De la hoya. floyd fought Mosley in 2010 and fought DLH in 2007 . its funny, because pac also made JMM jump 3 weight classes and STILL got his ass whooped by marquez.
