I keep reading PAC signed everything and gave Floyd all the concessions. I personally think Floyd can beat him but I also know Floyd knows more than I do about himself and the type of guys he fears.

I see the way not fighting Greb and Wills really hurt Dempsey, I dont see as much criticism against Holmes and his many avoidance of many on ESB

If Floyd does not fight Manny soon the fight will not happen. How will this hurt Floyds legacy?

I think it will harm his legacy bigtime but he ain't bothered, he's going to do his best to keep that unbeaten record, break Marciano's record and retire at 50-0.

If they fight I think Pac Man eats him up, Mayweather's got no legs left, I also think Khan has a great chance and Floyd will avoid him too.

I don't think surpassing Marciano's unbeaten record will mean much given that guys like Chavez and Pep went well beyond that mark. 50-0 is still a great milestone, but hardly a ground breaking feat at this point. As for skipping out on Pac? He'll get the same flack that every champion who missed a chief rival got and it will create controversy among boxing fans for the next century the way that Dempsey steering clear of Wills did. I myself will still rate him very highly. While Manny was his biggest test, I don't ride the band wagon which labels him as a "record Padder." There are a lot of very good fighters on that resume including plenty of title holders, undefeated opponents and even a few future hall of fame inductees. Not to mention titles in some five divisions and lots of foes who were younger than himself when he schooled them...Hell the man's been ranked top 10 p4p for about 15 years now and number one for several years to boot.

He's done better than avoiding Pac, he's waiting until his advantages are decisive.

Manny Pacquiao's unqiue attribute is that he punches hard as a mule for such a small man. He also has that herky-jerky fast rythm, great stamina in the leg department, good whiskers and a willingness to go for broke. Damn fast straight left, too. Oh yeah, a southpaw.

Tricky night, prime for prime. But put them in the same ring a little older, with Pac's legs declining, and he becomes much more predictable. Less stamina means less movement and less punches thrown and less explosive spurts.

With every week that passes, Pacquiao becomes less off a storm, while Floyd's means of taming the bull remain. His eyesight, cool under pressure and defensive acumen will see him through.

If the fight does come off, it will be contested, but the win will never be in doubt. Pacquiao has lost the ability he needs to have a chance at stopping Mayweather, and his deteriorating legs mean in my view that he can't win a decision.

As for Floyds legacy, it will only get better with time. He's compiled a fine resume.

If Pac made all the concessions it'd be done. Arum saying Pac has agreed to everything doesn't make it so, especially when Arum himself is demanding big concessions to make the fight. Both have certain demands, both are primadonnas. There's allot of things to agree on. But I'm bored of it all.

As am I. This fight would have meant a hell of a lot more had it been made sometime between 2009-2012. Today it really means f-ckall. And I am of the mind that both parties are equally responsible for that contract never being signed.

At this point i don't care if Paq-May fight at all, im over it, this merry go round has been going around since 2009, and it's old and tired, and i stopped having interest in this a long time ago:nut...

There are a few guy's I'll be howling at the moon in joy when they are retired and gone from the sport, Mayweather and Wlad Klitchko, they are 38, and 39, so hopefully that day ISN'T too far off, or they can hang around until they are Hopkins age, and become live punching bags for guy's young enough to be their offspring that's fine too..

I agree with pretty much everything there. Should I be worried?

It'll harm his legacy simply because most of the legendary fighters are legends BECAUSE they fought other legends. If Ali had never fought Liston, Frazier, or Foreman, think how much less his legacy would be. Actually, Frazier would be an even better example. Even though he lost to Ali and Foreman twice each, if he'd never fought them at all it'd be hard to take his career as seriously.
