As a floyd fan and a pac fan as well i think Pacs resume is greater he has wins over more hall of famers 8 division champ has more titles and also was the first to win 4 lineal champions ships in 4 weight classes he was also voted the FOTD among other things.

Not much. If Mayweather fights and beats Pac, he won't get much credit for it. "He waited until Pac got old" the haters would say. Truth be told, I wouldn't give him much credit for it, he's supposed to beat Pac. On the otherhand, if Pac beat Mayweather it would do a great deal for his legacy.

    Here

Both men are great, Floyd definitely ranks higher legacy-wise as of this moment due to his undefeated record, dominance, longevity, quality of opposition. He will have more to lose because he's greater/better, YES. But both men will receive huge flack if the fight does not happen. Floyd will never reach that level of 15-20, and Pac will never reach the level of 20-25 in terms of ATG list if the fight does not occur. This is a roadblock that they MUST get by to reach the next level. And it's a damn shame it's happened so late, but still, it must. It would have been a far far better win for each man if it happened at the peak of the fight (2009), but it's past that now and we must look forward.

That's what the media feeds you, go look at their overall body of work. Floyd's resume is better, and that's a fact.

    It already has.

Even if Manny were to die it'd still affect Floyd's legacy.

I guarantee you that when Floyd is old and he is interviewed for one of those legends of sports programmes, he will admit to ducking Manny, just like those athletes who have been accused of doping but deny it for many years till they retire.

So pac being the first fighter to win 4 lineal champions in 4 weight classes is not true?

    Fair points, all.

This post of yours kind of makes me wish you posted more seriously more often. I suspect your far more knowledgeable and unbiased than you typically let on.

A lot of his belts are just trinkets won on catchweights or against weak over the hill men, and everyone who knows the sport of boxing will not consider him an 8 division champion.

    You might, I don't.

Go look at their overall bodies of work. Floyd's is greater and by a fair margin too.

Floyd's legacy is intact...but there will always be that question for the rest of his life.

Sure, but this applies to both, not just him.

The axe swings both ways, both men will be questioned for the rest of their lives if the fight does not occur and it will NOT be pretty.

To an extent. But perception is reality and the vast majority of the world thinks it was Floyd who avoided Pac. So his legacy will suffer much more than Pac's. Perception is reality.

It will suffer more because he's the better fighter, that's all. Not because he "avoided Pac"

Pac and Arum were the ones who avoided the fight from 2009-2013 and now it's all Arum. Like I said before, Arum owes 4 fights to the Venetian, he wants nothing to do with the fight. Why would he? Stop being conned. Alex Ariza already answered everything.

Both men will have to answer that question for the rest of their lives if the fight does not occur. You might not love it, but that's an irrefutable fact.

No because the vast majority put the blame on Floyd for not making the fight thats why.
