Pac was never a threat to Floyd....The outcome would still be a wide PBF decision. It hurts both of their legacies to a degree but history will remember them both as ATG's (in the 30-50 range)...the shame is had one outclassed the other (my guess is Floyd) the win or potential series winner would elevate his standing much more.
If this was 2009 and we were still being fooled in to beliving that Pacquiao was as good as Mayweather.
Whatever happen, PAC will always be greater then Floyd. PAC and Floyd fought in the same decade and PAC was the superior fighter by winning the FIGHTER of that decade.
so you guys are proud of floyd for skipping up a chance to prove himself not only in fantasy fights but in actual fights?
Barely scrapping by with the win. I'll watch PAC Complete domination I'll watch the p4p king. Mayweather
Nah, id say it says more about Floyd than Manny. Floyd has left more questions unanswered in his career. And i do think its more his fault it hasnt happened.
I doubt it will have that much of an impact on it (although I could be wrong).....I think Floyds career will be looked on a lot better when he has retired than right now. If Pacquiao was a undefeated fighter, who hadn't had to fight Marquez 4 times and looked lackluster in a few of his recent bouts then I'm sure it would have affected him more. Most boxing fans hold Floyd to a higher standard than any other boxer, when its all said and done despite him being hugely disliked (and hugely popular) most people aren't stupid and he would be the betting favourite against Pacquiao (infact against anybody from 140 - 160Lbs) so I doubt THAT many people believe he would lose, its more they "hope" he would and "hope" Pacquiao (the good guy) would be the one to beat him. Just my 2 cents
