Not making this fight will affect both their legacies, BUT their boxing careers aren't over yet so there isn't a point in asking this question.
If they fight now, whoever losses will have their fans saying they were past prime. It would have been great if they fought 2 years ago, would have given boxing a big lift. Of course excuses would have gone on, and a rematch might have been had, but that all went out window when ******* Teddy Atlas gave report on some supposedly leaked e-mails regarding steroid testing.
It depends on who you are asking! If you ask the *****s, then it would actually enhance Fraud's legacy. Several reasons has to be cited for their stand (just guessing because it does not really makes sense) : 1. Fraud's ducking is a victory for their PEDS stance. Some *****s are starting threads that Pac is the Lance Armstrong of Boxing. 2. Pac does not deserve his purse, for refusing 40 million. The dumb *****s actually never even realize that Fraud gayweirder never had that amount of purse either. 3. &%$&&#$^&**&&***&&&&&&&&&**^&%$%$$%^&&**(((*(^%$$^ which simply means any idiotic reasoning that only they can justify. On the other hand, if you ask any noin-*****, Gayweaher has already a tranished image.
I'm more interested in guys that are in there prime like Matthysse **** these money hungry cherry pickers like Floyd and manny
Of course it will, it will affect both of their legacies. It's the biggest fight that could have been made in the last 20 year's yet for one reason or another it hasn't happened. If it does happen within the next 12 months it will be a career best win for both and likely push one higher than the other on the ATG list.
That ship sailed a year ago, his legacy has already been ****ed forever. He had 3 years to take on his legacy fight & failed terribly, if he were to fight pac now it would only damage his legacy further because many, many people already predicted that he`d wait for pac to slip a bit before fighting him & this would prove it. floyd will forever be ranked as a skilled boxer that didn`t quite have the minerals inside to join the elite.... & I`d say that`s about right. You get what you deserve in life
