Let me tell you what happened.

Mayweather Jr came back from retirement to fight Pac before the Hatton fight. Pac looked beatable after DLH but now PAC looks like a monster and this fight is actually a HELL of a LOT more risky than Mayweather initially thought.

He thought it would be an easy payday. Fight Marquez - who was one of the best defensive fighters in the world, who like an idiot turned into a terrible offensive fighter against Mayweather, while giving up 2 weight division, size, age, skill you name it. Then take care of Pac – the smaller man.

Mayweather said it himself 'I'LL NEVER BE BEATEN BY A SMALLER MAN'

Turns out after the Cotto fight Pac isn't 'the smaller man' he's a f*cking animal!
Mayweather is scared and looking for a way out. Suddenly a Mosely fight, which was a hard fight is looking like the easier path. AND WE ALL KNOW WHICH PATH FLOYD LIKES TO TAKE.

Agree 100% -- great post! :good

PBF ONLY came back so he could fight Pac. He thought it would be easy and PBF would be able to get his P4P back by whipping up on another cherrypicked, small opponent.

After Cotto, Hatton, and ODLH got manhandled by Pac, now it's not looking so sure, and we all know Floyd only cares about the "0." That is more important than even $40 million.

Fear is the toughest opponent of them all.

stop kidding yourself. u were one of those clowns who picked DLH and hatton to defeat floyd. and at that time everybody thought they were at the top of their game, thats why they were considered "mega-fights", dweeb! so why cant the man get the respect he deserves?

**** Floyd, I've been trying so hard to maintain some level of respect for him but this was the final nail in the coffin for him.

the way I see it what happens outside the ring has no impact on his legacy inside the ring (unless he is cheating of course).
