Will you *****'s defend his reasoning?

Joke of a match-up if it gets made (which no doubt it will).

How is that a joke of a fight ? He holds the interim title of Floyds ? Its not the best fight out there but its a good match up. I would rather see him against Canelo or Pac, obviously, but i wouldnt mind this.

im a card carrying floyd hater and i dont think it needs defending. the top dogs at 154 would beat the **** out of floyd and i know floyd dont want none of pac, so guerrero becomes legit by default. i dont expect floyd to be anything more than hes been for the better part of the last decade, a fantasy fight juggernaut taking on the easiest fights he can get away with while still maintaining the illusion.

Would not condone this fight, but I am sure they would use the same reasons and logic Pac used to fight a handful of guys not worthy, etc.

i wish it is canelo. guerrero poses no threat to him. guerrero is quite amateurish compared to floyds skills

if they can defend floyd on his win over josie harris, they'll find a way to hype up guerrero.

I would think that Harris won since Floyd went to jail for 2 months. To me that is a major L.

The Pacquaio has to be next. If not, Canelo.

Canelo would be a tough fight, but that's life when you run around talking all that **** and you're rated #1 PFP boxer in the world and #1 fighter.

Admittedly, guys like Martinez and Angulo are too big and would give Floyd the beating of a lifetime.

Canelo is pretty big himself, but he's a household name, and he's not quite as big as Martinez, and is a bigger name than Angulo anyway.

To be honest though, Floyd needs to fight Pacquaio.

The fight needs to stop being prolonged.

After that fight, both Pacquaio and Floyd can retire if they desire, but Floyd owes it to Pacquaio to make the fight since he berated him and ruined his reputation.

Pacqaio fought the undefeated Bradley, the best fighter in the division with one of the best resumes in the sport with wins over Alexander, Campbell, Holt, Abregu, and Peterson.

    He's a PFP fighter.

He's now fighting JMM who most people think beat Pacquaio and most people think will beat Pacquaio.

Pacquaio fights CHALLENGES and he fights at least twice a year.

Mayweather only fights once a year.

There is no way you can justify a fight against Guerrero. Mayweather needs to wait until this weekend, and then fight Pacquaio.

    He owes it to Pacquaio.

There is nobody out there that actually believes Guerrero has a chance against Mayweather.

That fight is a farce. It's the easiest opponent available for Mayweather and the epitome of cherry picking.

    It would be pathetic.

The only real options are Pacquaio, Martinez, Canelo and Guerrero. Can't see the first two happening that leaves Canelo or Guerrero. I would prefer Canelo vs Mayweather but it wouldn't be hard to defend a Guerrero vs Floyd match as he is more proven.

Why would that be a problem, Pac doesn't have a health problem fighting Froid. If Pac was ducking Froid to fight Rios then I would a problem defending him. But hey Froid keep running so what is Pac to do .

If he fights Canelo and wins, Canelo is a young, protected bum that was handed a belt. If he fights Guerrero and wins, Guerrero is a blown up 130 lbs fighter who's biggest win was Berto, who according to many on here is another hypejob. So, either way, he loses.

Let's be realistic, the only fighters on top tier are Pacquiao and Mayweather, and we probably won't see that so whoever Pac and Mayweather fight, there's going to be critics since they won't fight each other.

Roach you say Pacquaio is challenging himself with his opposition but if Floyd fought those same fighters Marquez and Bradley he would be quite a big favourite, Manny would even be an underdog most likely. Then you have to go to 154 lbs were Floyd isn't at his best to really find challenges such as Martinez.

I have Martinez beating Floyd at 154 lbs if he can make weight properly(but it could go the other way) Canelo vs Floyd I favour Floyd on points, I would be interested how Floyd match's up with Trout now after his fight with Cotto.
