    Styles make fights.

The one thing Floyd lacks is power and to a certain degree, strength.

A stylistic nightmare for him would not necessarily be a sylstic nightmare for Pacquaio.

For instance, due to Pacquaio's power, he was able to handle Margarito, and in a tougher fight would likely be able to handle Angulo.

Floyd avoided Margarito, so that erases a common opponent that had the characteristics to give Floyd hell.

To put it in perspective, Cotto who is relatively small and has a history of fading and is not so much a pressure fighter as a boxer puncher, was able to bully Floyd and push him against the ropes.

However, Cotto was shorter and smaller than Floyd, has a tendency to fade, and he could be hurt.

Margarito is bigger and rangier than both Cotto and Floyd, and Floyd doesn't have the power to hurt him. Margarito would push Floyd to the ropes and give him hell and he would never stop coming.

It would be an absolute nightmare of the highest proportion which is exactly why the fight didn't happen, regardless of the amount that was offered and the demand by fans.

The same would happen with Angulo who is a younger, perhaps even bigger version of Margarito would would corner Floyd and knock him out, but it is more feasible that Pacquaio would survive and bust Angulo up due to his power.

Pacquaio can carry his power up to the bigger weights. This was evident when he broke Margarito's orbital bone.

Also, I disagree that Bradley would not give Mayweather trouble. Bradley ran from Pacquaio because of Pacquaio's power. He would not be detered by Mayweather's power, and his youth and stamina, would cause the older Mayweather problems.

Would he win? I doubt it, but it would be a closer fight than was Pacquaio.

well for one if Floyd never fought at 154 again I wouldnt blame em. Just not his weight.

so that leaves 147,ring tv top 10 WW's are

1.Pac- we know we not getting this fight

    2.Floyd

    3.Guerrero

4.Kell Brooks-admitted he wasn't ready for Floyd yet, also has fight with Devon next

5.Malignaggi- Floyd would be called a cherry picker

    6.Zaveck-yeah right.

7.Bradley- promoted by Arum, also prolly wouldn't get much credit for win since Pac got to him first.

    8.Victor Ortiz- beat him already

    9.Devon Alexander-fights Brooks next

    10.Senchenko- :rofl

That leaves Ghost, has he earned a shot at Floyd? No. But looking at the list at 147 what else is out there?

Pacquiao fight aside so, Floyd is a coward if he doesnt go up to 154 and beat guys who outweigh him by 10-15 lbs?

    Am i getting that right?

Guererro is probably the best 147 fighter not named Manny or Floyd.
It shows how highly rated Floyd is if people think fighting the #3 in the division is a "farce" of a fight.

    Bull****.

Bradley is far more deserving of a fight.

Cool list, But I think maybe D. Garcia might make a blip on Floyd's radar if he beats Zab. He would never fight below 4 & after tho.

Floyd would pump up Garcia's undefeated record... Blah blah blah.

It's not that RG isn't legit (skill-wise) it's just that there are 3 fights out there for him that all of us would be pleased with/need to be made, yet Floyd would take the RG fight.

I'd put this fight up there with the Victor fight.
