    But that fight happened and Mayweather wiped the floor with Corrales. If Arum really wanted to make the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight, then why did he let drug testing derail the fight in 2010? Why did he say he needed a stadium built in 2012 and that the fight had to happen in June even though he knew Mayweather would be in jail? Why is he in 2014 saying the fight can only happen after Mayweather's contract with Showtime is up?

    pacquiao offered mayweather a 24 day cutoff, a 14 day cutoff, a 7 day cutoff and then ultimately a 0 day cutoff. mayweather never accepted any of these offers. if this fight ever happens it will be when both guys are old, broke and shot.

    So let me ask a rethorical question...

    If they end up fighting next year without a newly built stadium does that mean that Pac was ducking him all along?

    Let's stop with the bull****. First off, if you're going to do real random testing, there is no cutoff. Second, Roach originally said they needed a 1 week cutoff. Pacquiao then came out and said he needed a 30 cutoff, and that he wanted to decide how many times he was tested and when he was tested.

    After a video surfaced of Pacquaio getting blood taken 24 days before the Hatton fight, his window changed to 24 days. Both sides eventually met with a mediator and Floyd relented and offered a 14 cutoff. PACQUIAO'S SIDE REJECTED THIS OFFER, and then lied and said it was never made.

    After the negotiations fell apart, Mayweather went on record and stated he wouldn't be offering anymore cutoff times for testing. It was only after this happened that Pacquiao claimed he was ok with a 14 day window.

    This whole blood testing by. Mayweather is a scam true OSDT is year round ,like you said with no cut off ..The only guy I know who is actually doing year round testing is Donaire and look at who his SC. Is

    Speaking of which, here is another question.

    If they do fight and it does involve OSDT, will Pac fans finally admit that he should have simply accepted the tests all those years ago?

    Good questions, and I will answer them one by one. Yes, the Mayweather/Corrales fight happened and Floyd was spectacular but my point was that he was extremely reluctant to take the fight but ended up doing so because he had less leverage back then and was in a position where he had to prove himself and set up bigger purses down the road. I'm pointing out his MENTALITY.

    Arum didn't allow the drug testing to derail the fight, Floyd did. Floyd and his dad came up with this excuse and began negotiating in bad faith and improvising knowing certain facts about Manny. Floyd wanted to look like he was trying to make the fight to the public when in reality he really didn't want the fight and was creating excuses which is not something you do when you really want to do something. You know how women behave when they don't want to date a guy but don't have the balls to say "no I'm not interested"? They create one excuse after another. "I'm really busy", "I'm focusing on my career", etc. Remember that a mediator was even brought in and Floyd wouldn't budge. He knew that Manny had an issue with giving blood and ran with it. The Pacquiao camp also didn't want to capitulate and give Floyd all the negotiating leverage which is something the Mayweather camp didn't want to do either. That is normal behavior during negotiations and usually results in a fight being made IF BOTH PARTIES ARE NEGOTIATING IN GOOD FAITH.

    As far as the stadium thing goes, I think Arum grew disgusted with Floyd and was giving him a taste of his own medicine and coming up with bull**** excuses in order to basically tell him to fu** off. I would probably do the same thing once I realized that someone was making excuses and wasting my time. Again, I'll use the chick analogy. If you were really interested in dating a chick who didn't have the balls to say "no" and ended up flaking on you, wasting your time and then saw it as a game in order to feed her ego and began to feign interest. Wouldn't you screw with her right back and give her a taste of her own medicine?

    The 2014 comment about Showtime is based on Floyd's contract. He said they could either do what they did with Tyson/Lewis and have both networks compromise and join forces or they could wait till Floyd's contract is up and do a one fight HBO deal. I would rather the fight be on HBO because I like the commentary and production better than Showtime.

    Uh he agreed to testing the issue was the cut off .. I mean really how many times does this have to be repeated ?

    osdt =! odt.

    osdt = olympic style drug test. it means, it is patterned after olympic drug test. meaning they are not the same.

    osdt has cut off. odt has no cutoff, year round 24/7/365. in-competiton, out of competition.

    osdt cut off = start of training camp and the day of the fight. that's the window aka cutoffs.

    theftjr was already juiced to the gills during negotiations when he forced the fight to be in march.:hi:
