That's so ridiculous. How can you say with a straight face that Manny ducks dudes. Look who the motherfu**er has fought! I've seen him in person he is tiny bro. He moved up 2 weight divisions and was the underdog against Oscar and Cotto as well and fought Margarito at a weight three pounds higher than Floyd ducked him at. That is in addition to facing tons of other Hall of Famers and very good boxers. If Roach had green lit it, he would have fought Klitschko. He doesn't care who he fights.
In other words, if he is doing it now, he could have easily done it back then too. His reasons to refuse are therefore in my eyes unacceptable. So why pretend that Pac was the willing warrior got "ducked"???
His reasons were because he didn't want to give Floyd leverage but it's not like he didn't agree to testing ..And if you find those actions unacceptable than I wonder what are your thoughts on his latest demand about leaving Arum ?
Just for the record, none of what you wrote adresses my point. It is clear to me that both sides have made excuses. one more ridiculous than the next, over and over like they are trying to top each other.
Both are ******ed. If you are a warrior, or down to take on all challenges or whatever, you dont let the appearance of leverage stop the biggest fight in boxing history. Remember Pac flexed his leverage with the 1 million per lbs over penalty. That demand was unprecedented. Floyd accepted though and that leverage went out the window. If Pac had simply said yes to FULL testing Floyd wouldnt have many more cards to play after that. At the end of the day, you are telling me Pac said no because of "perception" and not because he had a problem with the actual demand. Nah thats not a warrior. Thats not a guy who fights for his fans. Thats not a guy who fights to prove himself. Thats not a guy who takes on all challenges. Its not acceptable.
Your pointing out his mentality ACCORDING TO ARUM, a guy who has been openly and consistently critical of Mayweather for years. Go back and watch that fight. During the telecast Lampley talks about how Mayweather recalled sparring Corrales before that fight and dominating him. Now of course he could've been lying. However, when Corrales was asked about it, he said he didn't remember. This would of course suggest that it did happen. So at this point we're supposed to believe that Mayweather was extremely reluctant to fight a guy who had already seen that he was better than and a guy that he dominated for 10 rounds when they fought in a real fight. And we're supposed to believe this based on the word of a guy who detests Mayweather and who gets caught in another lie seemingly every week. If Pacquiao has such a problem with giving blood then why is he a boxer? Boxer's have to get blood taken at least once a year to keep their license. Why is Manny now asking the same of his opponents that Mayweather asked of him? You're saying that if Mayweather agrees to fight Manny now, that it proves that he was ducking him before. That same exact logic can be applied to Manny in regards to his supposed claims that blood testing weakens him for 3 days. All the negotiating leverage? Pacquiao asked that the fight be done in March so that he could run for office. Floyd said no problem. Manny asked for a $10M per pound overweight penalty. Mayweather said no problem. Floyd asks for drug testing and Manny comes up with every excuse in the book. No of course he's making all of his opponents go through random testing. Now you're just full of it. You justify every bull**** excuse that comes out of Arum and Pacquiao's mouth. Ok, so now it's ok for Arum to block the fight now because you like HBO's commentary team. It was ok for Arum to block the fight in 2012 because he was giving Mayweather a taste of his own medicine. And it was ok for Manny to claim he gets weakened for 3 days by blood being taken in 2009/2010(an affliction that he's magically been cured of now).
The op and a few others are truly the most moronic clowns ever m The op's posts along some other clowns are the clearest double standard point of view if there ever was a double standard. No one should have to explain the clear double standards, if you can't recognize it glaring you in the face you need to go back to grade school. Idiots of the highest order
I'm not simply going by Arum, I am going by others who were privy to it as well. Be honest and ask yourself this question: When you think of Floyd Mayweather have you ever said to yourself, "man, that dude will fight ANYBODY!" You can't answer "yes" with a straight face. Floyd is a cherry picker of the highest order. He is an extremely gifted boxer who is absolutely petrified of losing. He is the complete opposite of Oscar, Mosley, Holyfield, Ali, Pac, etc. I read an article a while back that quoted a close friend of his who said that Floyd was taking a nap once and had a dream that he lost and was so upset he ran 10 miles. Pacquiao didn't have an issue giving blood in general. He had an issue giving blood too close to a fight and Mayweather knew that and used it as leverage while negotiating in bad faith. "Now you're just full of it. You justify every bull**** excuse that comes out of Arum and Pacquiao's mouth". Nobody has made more bull**** excuses than Floyd. Floyd is the king of excuses. Here's a question for you buddy: If Floyd's latest excuse is that he won't do business with Arum and Arum is the obstacle, why did he EVER negotiate with Arum? Hasn't Arum been Manny's promoter from day one? He acts like he just signed with the motherfu**er! If that's not a bull**** excuse, I don't know what is! Read the entire quote from Arum and not just the HBO part. He mentioned HBO when he was listing the options available to make the fight. He said they can either do what was done for Tyson/Lewis and have both networks involved or wait till Floyd's contract is up with Showtime and do it on HBO.
I guarantee you that if we both took a comprehensive IQ test that measured both sides of the brain, I would wipe the floor with you.
