If they were the same size, sure. But they aren't, so no. If Floyd dominates Manny at 140, then yes, he was the true fighter of the decade.

Its a no brainer. Its kinda like filing for a tax extension but instead just filing for a 'Fighter of the decade extension'.

If Mr. Mayweather beats Mr. Pacquiao then yes, in my eyes he is the fighter of the decade and the same goes for Manny.

On your question, it depends on alot of things, most importantly how Pac looks against Cheato or whomever Pac fights before floyd grows the balls to fight him...Pac's a warrior with a lot of wars already on his resume' and he's getting older every day...

The damage is done to floyd's career already though...He didn't fight alot top guys in their prime and that is a fact to anybody not infatuated with him...It would help if he finally grew a pair and took on one of his past ducks but, that doesn't forgive 10 years of cherry picking and doesn't excuse running away from the opportunity of a life time when the time was right...Every day he waits, the less a victory would mean for him...

No. Who is he fighting all this year? Pacquiao is beating Clottey, Cotto, maybe Margarito, while Mayweather sits on his hands. Mayweather did beat Mosley, but he's fighting just enough to remain in the picture and competitive with Pacquiao, not enough to enhance his legacy. I give him credit for beating Mosley but thats all he has done all year.

no. the decade is over, so the result of their fight will not affect the FOTD title. however, Floyd will be regarded as the better fighter for that matter.
