First, Floyd will not fight Pac, as long as Pac is looking so sharp. If he fights Pac after Pac starts looking bad ( such as old Mosley and old DLh ) then I would give him no credit for defeating him.
No. Not unless he continues to fight and win for the rest of this decade, as Pac was the fighter of the last decade.
One of the reasons why Floyd is an idiot. Assuming he fought and beat Pac, he could've got the following 1. Break "The world awaits" PPV record 2. Beat Tiger Woods as highest paid athlete (including Mosely fight). He could have buy himself an Iphone. 3. P4P #1 4. Win Fighter of the Decade 5. Top 20 ATG
if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle if batman fought superman its a dumbass hypothetical question
I don't think so. Pac was fighter of the decade for his achievements in that decade. Whether or not floyd can beat him or not. Its all about achievements. Not who you think people could potentially beat. Floyd would be the favourite if the 2 fought. Yet Pac deserves the fighter of the decade for his accomplishments in the ring. It would be like if paul williams suddenly beat floyd. That wouldn't all of a sudden rate him higher in the ATG rankings. Due to floyds superior achievements in the lower weight classes.
What bollocks. More credit goes to guys who move up in weight? It's impressive when a guy moves up in weight, but why do they get more credit?...what about Hagler? That guy stayed at Middleweight his whole career, does Pacquiao get more credit than him? Also, you mention that Pacquiao and JMM get more credit because they have moved up and got big victories...you do realize that Mayweather is a 5 weight World Champion don't you?
Ofcourse Mayweather will have proved himself the better boxer and greater to anyone looking back it will be obvious. Mayweather would also be past prime at 34, so it would be a great past prime win. And no Pac isn't smaller both have had the same ring weights if you compare them, Pac just drains more to make weight
well, decade passed, and as a floyd fan, he didn't deserve it...you cannot take off 20-25% of the end of the decade and receive something like that
Corrales, Castillo, Hatton, Judah were past prime? Mosley/DLH/Henandez were but still top opponents. Pacquaio's fought more past prime opponents, and many of his opponents were coming off recent losses - Morales/JMM/Hatton/Delahoya/Margarito/Cotto all coming off big losses in most cases their last significant fight
