    How can Floyd be considered for fighter of the decade when they already chose Pac and the decade's over? How did this get to 6 pages? This is pathetic.

    No way man, the decades barely starting. I wouldn't pick neither Floyd nor Manny as fighters of the new decade until one of them fights either Martinez, Williams, or Bradley. Those fighters can't be ignored.

    understand that but at the same time floyd will have proved everyone wrong if/when he beats pac...

    But instead of getting the credit like pac people will say he doesn't deserve any as he cherrypicked a smaller opponent...

    No, only one of them would be weight drained, which is precisely the point. Pacquiao said when he started training for Margarito he could still make 135 just a week or two ago.

    Just because Pacquiao has been impressive at 147 doesn't mean we should forget how small he is in the division and how much more impressive he was at 140, albeit for barely 6 minutes.

    No...the award is based on accomplishments within a 10 year period. Floyd beating Manny in 2011 is beyond what the award was created for. Roy Jones also got fighter of the decade. Since he lost to Tarver should Tarver now be give Roy's award?:huh
