    Honestly yes it would.

    Legitimate 6 WEIGHT WORLD CHAMPION

Pacquiaos should only be a 6 weight champ anyways

Margarito and Hatton fights shouldnt count.

Mayweather would way surpass him if he won sergios middleweight belts but i dont see the fight happening

Are you kidding me with this thread? Mayweather is already higher than Pacquaio. Again, You can hate Mayweather but don't discredit his boxing legacy, that is just wrong!

Hatton shouldn't count, despite him being the Ring and lineal champ and being undefeated at 140, but Gatti, who won Tszyu's vacant stripped belt, and De La Hoya, who won his belt off Mayorga after he lost to Spinks and was spanked by Tito, are legit?

He certentainly will. But how come I notice, Floyd and "IF" always seem to come in a sentence. There's always been an "IF" in Floyd. :patsch

Going up 2 weight classes and beating the number 2-3 P4P fighter at his own weight. 8 titles in 6 weight classes while remaining undefeated. Also beating 17 world champs. IMO yes it would.

Of course. Both had interest in fighting Sergio #3 p4p. Now not so much. For me Floyd and Pacman are pretty close you can make a case for either one. Whoever of those 2 beats Sergio is clearly #1 no excuses. Margarito beating Sergio is about as relevant as Torrecampo spanking Pacquiao. Thats some hilarious **** right there.

The current Martinez would be a better win than anyone on pac's resume.

it would bring him pretty close. i dont think its enough to eclipse what pac has been doing consistently for the better part of a decade, which is blowing through competition that should be testing him more. you cant make all the excuses you want for his cherry picked opponents, but i was around and know what everyone was saying before the fights. these guys made up the hottest division in boxing before pac started taking names.
