He will never silence his critics, becasue they aren't basing their arguments on any substance, or ratioal premise, they just don't like Floyd and they will never give him credit. He could beat Ortiz, Pac, Khan, Martinez, and they will make excuses.

    Ortiz-green
    Pac-slowed down
    Martinez-Old
Khan-green, KOed by bum in 1 round.

first of he only has to beat Pac

Khan and Ortiz are pimples on Pac's buttox.

He says Pac is next, then he needs to step up and agree to the fight

No one expects him to fight Martinez, the ***** who cries about being a blown up welterweight

IF he beat those three, people would still want him to beat martinez to prove he's the best.....IF he did that, they'd want him to beat ____ and then ____. You get the point.

As much as I would love to see those fights happen, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't. Only fight he really has to take before he calls it quits is Pacquiao. But if he were to beat Khan in England, Ortiz, Pac, and then Martinez, all without any controversy, he's TOP 10 ATG easily. It isn't even an issue that is up for debate.

    Let's play on this some.
Who would be ranked higher in the ATG list ?
Floyd beating Ortiz, Khan, Pac and retiring (would he end up above Pac, when their records are compared)
Pac beating Ortiz, Khan, Floyd and retiring (I think he would be above Floyd, when their records are compared)

Who can reach the highest ?

Yeah whatever, what is your opinion? If he beats these 3 controversy free, has he lived up to his potential or not?

Based on these two scenarios i'd say pac would rank most highly, however careers could continue significantly longer.

Honestly I think he needs to finish with a Martinez fight, IMO he has waited long enough for Manny to show signs of abuse on his body. Floyd should have taken this fight a long time ago regardless of the test he should have taken it.
At that point nobody could argue that Manny was ring worn from the wars, at this stage a win over Pac is still solid but it wont be worth as much as it would have right after Manny destroyed Hatton...

I don't rate him that high tbh, beating martinez as well as these 3 would mean he's been champion from sfw right up to mw. That's roberto duran level impressive and that's not a level i'd assume floyd to be good enough for.

who has pac fought that is as dangerous as martinez is right now?

If you don't understand the question, i'll rephrase it better. Name me one opponent pac has faced that was as dangerous at the time as martinez is now?

It's not a trick question, I await your answer.

ok, when pac moved-up to 126 from 122 to fight barrera, pac was supposed to get schooled by barrera then. if you would make pac or floyd fight martinez at 154, i assure you that they would not be as heavy as underdog pac was during his first barrera fight. in fact, floyd might be the favorite against martinez if the fight happened at 154. also hindsight is 20/20 but when pac moved-up 2 divisions to fight oscar at welter, pac was an underdog and was supposed to be destroyed by delahoya by his jab alone.

if you are not satisfied, i can go back to the time when he was just 19 when he fought the best flyweight at the time in sasakul in his country where hometown decisions are rampant. there are a lot of risky fights pacquiao has gone throughout his career from start up to the higher weights.

    What promise?

He never promised anything. Legacy pays no bill.

    And the answer is no.

Pac counts. But Khan and Ortiz?

You seem to be missing my point so i will try to be clearer, when i state "Dangerous" I am talking about someone who has a good chance of sparking you out. That's what I mean by dangerous.

Pac fighting barrera is no where in the same league as mayweather picking a fight with the current martinez.

Before fighting pac barerra stopped Kevin Kelly in round 4 who was 54-5 at the time. If you watch the stoppage it was hardly impressive for a number of reasons.

And please tell me you are not comparing pac agreeing to fight oscar at 147 on par with floyd picking a fight with the current martinez.

Oscar looked like **** when he fought steve forbes at 150 catch weight. This was the fight before pac.

You keep talking about odds, but all that represents is betting margins on who will win a fight, Also if you are less known to the betting audience it's understandable that the betting margins will not look to kindly in your favour.

Fact is pac hasn't faced anyone as dangerous as the current martinez, and that's the truth.

    160?? are you kidding me?
Floyd would be outweighed by 15 pounds, easy.

Martinez probably weighs 170 come fight night.

    Martinez at 154,maybe.
