If floyd finishes off with ortiz, khan and pac - will he have fulfilled his promise?

Might not be big on it, but it is what it is. This lineup would see floyd beat the best two ww's and the best lww. For me that makes up for his poor run of opponents between castillo and judah and it makes up for his ill advised retirement.

    :deal

However, add those 3, AND maybe go out with takin' down Martinez @ 160 (IMO, never happen, Martinez is gettin' on in yrs. and it would have to be a couple years from now minimum after the other 3)....Lawd that would be legendary as hell.

Maybe it's just that I rate floyd higher than others, I dunno, but what he's done so far doesn't justify his skillset imo. It comes bloody close tho, just a couple of victories short. These 3 are the best 3 welterweight fights I can think of from floyd's point of view.

If he does that and beats martinez as you suggest, he has to be considered top ten material imo.

    Forget Khan (& Ortiz preferably).

    Pacquiao, Martinez, retire.

I wouldn't expect him to beat a natural mw at the limit.

I'm not hundred percent convinced right now that i'd be happy with just ortiz and pac, but i'm sure i'd get taken in with the hype just like everyone else :)

Ortiz, Pac and then Martinez for his final fight. There really is no need to fight Khan, beating him won't prove anything.

But would you be surprised? And wouldn't that be a hell of a fight?
