If Floyd fought and beat GGG at 154, would that diminish his win significantly?

Just saw a GGG fan named QuadrupleG post that Wards win over Dawson at 168 was a significantly diminished win for Ward. With roles reversed and GGG going down to 154 for a hypothetical fight with Floyd, would Golovkin fans think it would be a Diminished win for Floyd? I mean ive heard over the last year or 2 that GGG is a small Middleweight to begin with, so there would be no excuses right?

No if he "AGREED" to go down to the weight in order to get the fight.
Just like every Floyd fight people will either over/under exaggerate the win.
GGG will ride off to Malibu to his Mansion and say he was drained while him, Able and K2 count the spoils of getting slapped by Mayweather for 12 rounds.

Floyd would meet GGG in the middle. Ward dragged Dawson into his own weight class. Big difference.

6 pounds is not far off from 8.. Besides GGG wouldnt have to drain 6 pounds, so i think there is a difference. And again Dawson "screwed" Dawson not the other way around.:deal

Dawson wanted that fight. Just like K2 wants to cash GGG out against Floyd and get that 0 taken.
GGG will look like Christian Bale in the Machinist.

It all depends on appearance of the fighter and how the fight goes. I knew Lalonde would be tough early for Sugar, and figured if Sugar could take his punch that Lalonde would fade late. He faded badly. No reserves. The reason people criticize Ward for beating Dawson was weight but no reason. Ward didn't let Dawson sit back and box. And Dawson chose to come down in weight and fight Ward. I might be mistaken, but didn't GG's fans say that GG said that he would come to 154 to fight Floyd?

Dawson screwed Dawson, but Ward still had all advantages, so his win is tainted.

Floyd would come up 7 pounds to meet Golovkin in the middle, so he would not have the same advantage Ward did.

Ward vs Dawson at 168 is about the same as Canelo vs Golovkin at 154. The only difference is that Canelo would still lose.

Ward didn't drag anyone down anywhere. That was Dawsons choice no matter how bad of a choice you think that he made to fight at 168.

This is Mayweather were talking about, even if he fought GGG at 160 and won there would be excuses to discredit the victory.

Honestly IMO just based of what GGG has actually done in the sport, anyone who was to beat him wouldn't get the credit you'd assume.

Until GGG does something notable a win over him right now would just be written off as him being exposed as a hypejob.

If GG came to 154, Canelo would whip his ass.

Haters keep dreaming, but nobody beats GGG under 168 in the next 3 years.

No wins are tainted if the fighter agrees to the fight. I had a serious problem with Cotto taking on Pac at 145. I ****ted on every Pac fan around. But when Cotto accepted the fight, wtf could I say??? Cotto agreed. You can easily say no.

Yes. There is no reason for Floyd to fight GGG, they are too far apart in size. If Floyd does manage to get Genady to 154, I'd imagine it being a terrible night of a walking corpse and vs a runner.

At 160, Genady wins by a ko.
