how would have Floyd attack the high guard of Clottey?

Floyd commented that Pac basically punched Clottey's arms for all 12 rounds.

Would Floyd have fared better had he fought Clottey that night instead of Pac? Remember that Clottey was on his high guard the whole 12 rounds.

Floyd will win but it will be more boring. Imagine both of them waiting to counter.

Styles make fights. Clottey didn't, or couldn't open up against a very offensive fighter in Pacquiao. However, against Mayweather he would no doubt be forced into committing to some sort of offense in the bout. I could probably see Mayweather throwing a great deal of feints to try to get him out of his shell, and as Clottey throws, Floyd counters.

Floyd would break his hands on Clottey's guard and then still win the fight anyways in a fight where less than 50 total punches are landed by both fighters.

Clottey would have not been so fearful and would not have been in his shell
clottey bought into the same hype that had tysons opponents fearfull of him in the mental game before the fight...delapidating them in the first round due to their fear and his power.

floyd is a technical man...boxes brilliant. can go to war and can weather a storm from the toughest bull mother****in chargers... his power is to adapt... a set gameplan for 1 fighter can be usefull...but if that is all you have to implement...then expect surprises ...
    and devestating ones.

clottey would have bought into that mayweather running soft hands **** that mannys fans like to chant.. and therefore clottey would have been emulating pacman ...coming at him and trying not to give floyd a chance to breathe...

clottey would not do that shell game business...and he wouldnt be paid to make the other guy look like a hero champ either... so.. floyd would rip him apart... here..there.
little by little.. clottey would be gassed by the 5th trying so hard to punish a man that can box and move and not get hit....frustration would set in...not fear...frustration

the fear would come later.... like an "oh no" when he realizes that he can't land **** and is being popped...and he can't even resort to holding up his tired ass arms...

he would catch a nice two three punch combo..and his big ass head would absorb them..
for a while... till the human condition of battering sets in....

a tired frustrated clottey would be swinging wildly in retaliation ..only after being hit to the body then to cover tha...then hit to the face...and then out of frustration the wild swinging...and then money closes the show.

the crowd cheers... people take back what they say.. etc etc.

well for those not well diverse in the fine art of boxing I will explain it too you, its not that hard.
Floyd even though is a counter puncher is a very good offensive fighter and baiter, to draw a fighter like clotty out of his defensive shell, floyd would throw baited punches that would leave opening for clotty to bite on. A fainted jab would no doubt make clotty bend to his right to deliver a right upper cut, which would allow floyd to counter with a strait right from the out side or left hook on the inside. Pac on the other hand does not seem to know how to setup punches with faints, he relies on his speed to get him to the mark faster then his opponent can get to his.

Which is why fighters like marquez is able to tag him at will. one thing is for certain with pac, if you throw one punch at him hit or mis he will retaliate with a volume of fast punches and the process he leaves openings. Pac has only found two fighters smart enough and technical enough to exploit this weakness.

Both fighters would throw 20 punches a round and everyone in the stadium will start booing and leave the stadium.

There is an assumption here that Clottey will try to punch during feints. THAT is NOT Clottey's style. He punches AFTER you punch. PBF can fake all he wants it is not going to work with Clottey.

What PBF needs to do is put his hands in his pocket to make Clottey switch from defensive to offensive mode. He will try to unleash his quick straight right - giving PBF an opening. HOWEVER, Clottey's foot might be slow, but his hand speed is good to great. PBF is still faster but I would not be surprised that he tags PBF several times.

This is in the early to mid rounds. After PBF gets a 5-6 round lead in the 8, go to bed. Nothing will happen after that.

    PBF wins 10-2.

clottey is dumb..... that's why he was looking at the inside of his gloves....trying to lose the fight...but in a justifiable manner.... he didnt want to get knocked out...he was scared ... shocks go through them gloves when getting hit.

he makes the mistake like most...not seeing mayweather as a champ.... still thinks he is a cardboard cutout. ....he would be dumb and take the risk and be willing to exchange more with money...heh... well...he certainly got that money after his last performance..
but anyhow... he would not hide and give that respect to mayweather.... he would go for his ghanian glory and dine in hell...... eating wierd food....with bugs.. like indiana jones and the temple of doom
