If Floyd gets a tune-up, it should be on regular HBO. NOT PPV!

If its a credible opponent or someone who has a following...HBO will air it on PPV. They cant risk losing Floyd and tons of cash.

If its a credible opponent, then sure. I would even buy Floyd vs Berto given Berto beats Ortiz. To even mention the name Spadafora as a possible tune-up on ppv is a slap in the face to fans.

Amir Khan or Tim Bradley? it's probably going to be someone in the 140 - 147lb range. Rumor is that Floyds people want him to fight bigger guys. But the money is where it's at. That's between 140 - 154lbs. So it's gotta be someone who's a draw and most of the big names are in that territory. I'd like to see Money do what he does in the gym by fighting bigger guys. He has the skill to fight bigger guys like Dirrell or Ward. But, there's not that kind of Money there. I think these fights at 154lbs - 160 would be very natural for him based on his sparring sessions with bigger guys.

Every Floyd fight is a PPV event, and people will pay to see it.

Fights like Judah vs. whats his name and Maidana vs. Morales were PPV fights. Insane to think that any Mayweather fight wouldn't be PPV.

If Mayweather does fight this summer it will probably be on ppv and thats where I'd prefer it to be especially if its a Spadafora bout. Mayweather will want a lot of money to fight and I'd hate to see HBO throw away a large chunk of its budget on a Mayweather-Spadafora fight. I'd much prefer HBO to have money to make several cards instead of one Mayweather-Spadafora card, which probably won't have an undercard fight because Mayweather will eat up too much of the budget.

Put it on ppv and if people want to see it they can, if not atelast HBO doesn't use a large percentage of its budget for a fight that isnt't very appealing, if he does face Spadafora.

whoever he fights next, he should ask for an unreasonable high price. let's see him hold his ground on this issue.

1: What are you basing "Floyd wanting a tune up" on?

2: What are you basing "Spadafora" on?

The truth is, Pacfans just like reading fake rumours on blogs, and trolling with them.

Are you still waiting for Mathew Hatton vs. Mayweather?

    How can I put this?

Your talking about a dumb rumour, you read on an article, written by a fan, who probably wrote it just to try and annoy people.

    Floyd hasn't fought a none-marquee name, in 5+ years.

Why do you think the guy's going to waste time, boxing Spadafiora?

    WHO MENTIONED SPADAFORA!?

    Floyd certainly didn't

As I said - you guys just like discussing myths.

When's Floyd, or anyone remotely linked to him said anything about Paul Spadafora?

Paul Spadafora was just put into the media by Top Rank.

To make Mosely vs. Pacquiao seem good..................

Before Pacquiao vs. Clottey, they started rumours about "Mathew Hatton vs. Mayweather"

Truth is, look at the last 5 years.

Floyd rarely boxes, and if he does, he wants big money.

    I'm talking $40 million+

The fact of the matter is Mayweather v anyone does better PPV numbers than any other two fighters in the sport (with the exception of Pac). Whether he fights Spadafora or a legitimate fight, he'll be on PPV because there's money to be made. That's the way it works.
