If he felt he was undoubtedly up on the scorecards and the cut happened after the fourth than he would definitely quit. As many before me have said he only cares about keeping his 0, he doesn't care about proving that he has heart to anyone, especially at this point in his career since he already has proven it in past fights. I think it's pretty clear that outside of maybe family, nothing is more important to Floyd than money and staying undefeated.

Agreed. But what if it were within 4 rounds and his cut was ruled a headbutt, and his opponent is getting the best of him. Would he look for the No Contest?

Just because he is skilled and arrogant/confident doesn't mean he is a quitter.

Mayweather has more heart than a fighter like Gatti who is percieved as having some kind of super-human willpower. I am sure of that.

One other thing to consider is the Roger Mayweather factor. Roger was a good boxer, but a renowned quitter. I wouldn't mind betting that Floyd has this in the back of his mind, and having grown up around it, he would hate nothing more than to let it happen to him.

You could also look to his upbringing. When most people look at Floyd, they look at a brash, cocky, loaded loudmouth. Behind the exterior though, is a person who has been through more than most of us will ever know, and despite this, he has risen to the top.

The problem with Floyd is, he is so damn good, he rarely has to display his heart and will power.

It depends. If PBF thought he was losing the fight and couldn't win then he would quit and say he only lost because of the cut. If it was pretty even then I think he would battle through because he is desperate to keep his 0.

You guys who think he would quit are gay. . . . . Floyd's faught through much worse. You really think he would quit because of a little cut? It seems that his personality is affecting how people think he will act in the ring. Behind everything, he's a fighter, and he'll do anything to protect himself from a loss.

He didn't quit when he broke his hand busting up Carlos Hernandez's face. He didn't quit when his nose wouldn't stop bleeding when Augustus was popping him. He didn't quit when he had broken ribs, a torn shoulder, and giving up twelve pounds against Castillo, a fight that was shifting in Jose Luis' favor. You know what he did? He fought back, and won.

Campbell's eye was ****ed and he couldnt see out of it. A lot of guys would have quit under those conditions, stop hating on him.

If the man can carry on with a broken hand, that very admirable....and with a broken Rib...well that's a good reason to stop in its own right....but to carry on with a Rotator cuff injury? I dont see any quit in the mindset of this fighter. So a cut eye is not going to get him to quit anytime soon from what he has shown in past performances.

Floyd has one of the best cut men in the business ... he would keep fighting and find a way to win the fight ... he always does ... you don't get to his level and no be able to pull a rabbit out of a hat.

if he had the same injury as campbell and coulndt see out of his eye then he probably would as I think any fighter would in that situation. But if its just a cut then hell no, not when he's fought with broken hands and torn shoulder muscle

Naw, he won't quit. Depending on the severity of the cut and where it's located, he might run around but won't quit. His cut man is one of the best, and Floyd has confidence in his work.

    Floyd won't quit that easy
