He would sell less tickets for sure.

    Controversy sells, stereotypes sell.

Don't think he'd survive on skill alone?

Sure he would. If he had what you call a better personalithy. Meaning if HE skiled at teh camera every time he was interviewed, and if he said things like Ricky HAtton is a great champion I look forward to fighting the best, and so on and so forth.
    THey would like him.
But not for long. They would eventually flip on him no matter what.
I rememeber when Shane Mosley forst started doing his Oscar De La Hoya smile and nice guy answer routine for the cameras. Everybody loved him. But you see the shift happening already.

Not only that, but infact he is so well liked that his drug cheating is almost completely disregarded. I have never seen an athlete get such a free pass.

No kidding. He admits to having taken drugs, and no one even talks a bit about it negating his accomplishments. He's purely loved by the fans.

Yes, he just needs to put his act away. Hes sucks at talkin **** and just sounds stupid and annoying. To make it worse he talks about how he is gunna destroy and beat a fighter up and then just runs for the whole fight. He should just be himself and stop acting like hes a badass more ppl would like him. hopefully hes more humble after his defeat to HATTON;)

He did have a nicer attitude but even with his great skill he wasn't selling fights and tickets like he should have been so he was kinda forced to play the bad guy to sell the fight which is a shame being that he'll probably go down as one of the best fighters ever

RJJ got a free pass, too. He's gotten more free passes than most.
