The weakest part of Floyd's resume in LWW

He only fought one world title fight before moving up. At that time a prime Cotto held the WBO crown.

If they had met then would have the result been any different from their 2012 154lb bout?

Hatton and Cotto were at the Gatti fight.

After Floyd dispatched of Gatti, they were just like

    Erm no.... No Mayweather...

Mayweather would have knocked Hatton and Cotto out in the same night :deal

Cotto would have been too slow for Mayweather. It would have been close to a shutout IMO.

Floyd was preparing to fight Cotto, that's why he fault Bruseles who was trained by Evangelista Cotto. Arum didn't want that fight for Cotto.

Floyd's true prime was at 140, yeah he only spent a minute there but no fighter at the weight was a match for him back then.

Arum said that Cotto wasn't ready for Mayweather but most of the posters on this thread wasn't following boxing at that time.

In reality, since their actual fight was close, i doubt a fight with prime cotto would be a shutout for floyd.

There's obviously a lot you aren't aware of, junior. Arum controls who his fighters fight. That's why Oscar and Mayweather left him.
