    If Floyd had the balls...
He could have been one of the greatest of all time, instead of ducking fighters and retiring so many times he should have his pension.

He could of had an undefeated Miguel Coto, a prime Margarito, Manny Pac, and who knows even a step up to have met Martinez, no doubt over the past three/four years there have others i have forgotten.

All these fights are winnable for Floyd, Cotto/Margarito back in 2007/2008 Floyd would have been favoured on, Martinez/Pac now would probably be 50/50 fights.

I feel if he came threw these still undefeated or maybe a loss and a win in the rematch to one of them, he could have been remembered as one of the greatest. Look at all the greats they have been in a good few 50/50 fights where they have taken the risks needed to seal their greatness.

I feel that Floyd is great....But has wasted a MASSIVE chance to become truly one of the greatest of all time. And i belive he could have.

IF YOU WANT TO BE GREAT DO GREAT THINGS!

    Mayweather cares about money more.

At the time before Cotto, Margarito wasn't a big enough name for Floyd.

But, yes he should of fought Cotto, when Cotto was undefeated.

Wrong. He cares about ducking opponents that can beat him. Joel Casamayor for four years 2003-2007 openly challenged him :good

If Floyd is about money then how can you miss KOSTYA TSZYU who even was a guest in ESPN asking Floyd to fight him? :thumbsup

yeah, but by not taking those risks and maybe losing, he ensures he will always be mentioined in ATG discussions because of his obvious skill, undefeated record and the fact he has the best hit/getting hit ratio in history.

If he had balls he'd lose to Manny but then again he'd have no balls after.

First I wrote that the Marg fight wasn't big enough, not the Cotto fight.

If you read my post I said He SHOULD of fought an UNDEFEATED COTTO.
Floyd dropped the ball on that one..:patsch

Second... Hatton came to him... remember Floyd was the Ring Champ.. and real 147 champ..beating baldo..who beat judah... who beat ..Spinks... who beat... Mayorga who.. beat..Ver... who beat ... Molsey and so on.

Floyd's belts were on the line not Hatton's.. Hatton had a safety net if he lost he still was the 140 champ.. Smart move on Hatton part.:hey

Casamayor wasn't a money fight by 2003-2007. Casamayor lost to POPO by then. And Flody was thinking about Oscar by then... the biggest money fight.

He didn't DUCK Chico did he??? Who most people thought was more of a threat then Casamayor?

Casamayor and Chico fought and it was tough fight.... Chico got his ass whipped by Mayweather ... and I'm a Chico fan

It annoys me no end that Mayweather didn't fight Cotto or Margarito or Williams or Mosley a few years ago, I don't care about the why's, I just wanted to see those fights.
I salute Pacquiao for taking Cotto, Margarito and Clottey on in quick succession regardless of whether they are tailor-made for him or not, at least he is active.
