Mayweather was more likely to get into a tear up at the lower weights, that in itself would play into Morales' hands. If Morales could get Mayweather out of his comfort zone, the bout would be very competitive.

Morales was on the decline against Raheem...I'm talking prime Morales.

    What I'm basically saying is.

Mayweathers probably got one of the toughest resumes of his era.

Fans just don't like seeing people make it look easy.

Whups Hatton (he had to move up 7 pounds!)

    Whups Mosely (he was old!)

Whups Judah (he was coming off a loss!)

Whups Coralles (he was weight drained!)

Whups Marquez (he had to move up in weight!)

Truth is, he whups almost everyone, and you're never going to fight a guy his own size who will push him too hard

Demand he moves to middleweight, if you want to see him earn his "warrior spurs" as that's what it will take.

Mayweather, against Martinez at 160, would be close

    Not at all.

Take for instance Pacquiao, who is on Barrera's resume. Pacquiao gives Mayweather his most competitive bout to date, and can very much beat Mayweather.

Come on man, you're taking Morales, as guys like you know the only way to bring Mayweather down, is outside of the ring.........

Seriously - Mayweather humiliates guys like Morales and Barrera at 130. They wouldn't go 5 rounds

What's "pacquiao giving Mayweather a tough bout" based on exactly?

    What logic?

Pacquiao and Marquez were pretty equal at 130. Why do you think it's that much different at 147?

A bit different maybe. But not that much diffrent.

Marquez threw more shots against Mayweather than he did against Pacquiao.

His problem was he could only land 60

Well, you do claim Marquez is greater than both Barrera and Morales, so that type of response is expected (no disrespect to Marquez...he's great in his own right).

    No point debating.

different fighters give you different fight complexion. and lol at that shot thing. you dont get too many shot fighters schooling, outspeeding, outmauevering malignaggi do you?

and the fact that a shot hatton actually gave mayweather 10 hards rds makes me laugh out loud.

im not sure about that paclander sh1t, but its pretty amusing to think that a shot dela hoya actually beat mayweather

Your making my point for me.

    Pacquiao destroyed Barrera

    Marquez destroyed Barrera.

Barrera was not on either of their levels. So why's he so great? As he loses to great fighters?

You know what would help. If you pacland guys started watching the fights you flood boards about.

Hatton walked through everything Tszyu had. And Mayweather knocks him out cold with one shot?

Juan Lazcano nearly blows him away? A lightweight?

He had no punch resistance whatsoever. He was probably shot even when he faced mayweather

As for Hatton giving Mayweather "10 tough rounds"

Did you read that on Phil boxing or something?

Hatton gave Mayweather 1 tough round. He then took a beating for the rest of the fight

    The highlighted.

Same can be said for Pacquiao's resume. Pacquiao has Cotto and Margarito on his resume. Mayweather does not. But just because people believe Mayweather beats both comfortably (I tend to agree with this)...doesn't mean that he will. Boxer's have off nights, the 'He would beat him anyway' arguement doesn't work...it certainly doesn't add to someones legacy.

You have not seen that bout.

    Also, the A, B, C doesn't work in boxing.

It's what's called as the "great white hope" phenom.

    Jack Johnson got the same.

American fans hate loud, black guys, who win a lot, and tell you how much better they are than everyone else.

So they convince themselves that it's not because these black guys are just dominant athletes - it's because they're cowards, to trick people into losing against them...........

You know, fans always line up people who will "beat" dominant fighters. Then they get in the ring and get whupped by them.

Floyd's problem isn't his opposition. Or his performances (look how much respect pacquiao gets for facing de la hoya and hatton)

His problem is he's a loud black guy, who lives in America, and doesn't know his place in society...............

Can you explain what logic you have for Pacquiao pushing Mayweather hard?

Is it the fact that Mayweathers destroyed every little guy he's ever faced.

Or the fact that Marquez threw more shots against Mayweather, than he did in both Pacquiao fights, but only landed 60.................?

Mayweather has beaten everyone he has faced in the pro's...that does not mean he is unbeatable.
