    Floyd walks around 165

If manny was floyds size he would have fought Martinez, and ward already

That's why manny is higher on the atg list

You gotta expect that in boxing or any sport really. Generational bias is always the way to disregard the "newer" guys. Its pretty much a trump card to pull up SRR or SRL or Hearns. But if you aren't blinded by generation bias, there are some things you can say about SRR that are questionable about his record.

No excuse not to fight ward if he wants to be atg

    Even Martinez

He should just have stayed at 135

Did you really just say their are questionable things about Sugar Ray Robinson's resume while trying to defend Floyd as the greatest ever? Really? ***** logic at it's finest.

Floyd is no longer relevant and is retired on active duty.
Wake me when he fights CANELO AT 154.

he will be remembered as a coward with skills who avoided the tough matchups.

What does he have to do to be the GOAT ...well first he would have to become the fighter of the decade in order to be considered a fighter of the century. He's not even a fighter of the decade material.

    RJJ (greatest of all time)
Was a middleweight who beat the HW champ of the world
Who was willing to sign on to fight tyson.

Wo went 49-0 against the best out there

Floyd has done nothing. Nothing, in comparison

    The black Marciano

RJJ woulda beaten, mayweather and ward on the same night.

Just for example how can he be greater than Ali??
Ali beat all the best guys in his time, Liston, Frazier, Foreman... there is not a single guy ha ducked or did not face for any reason, while Floyd did not face PAc(not blaming Floyd but its a fact), or how can he be greater than SRL who beat, Hearns, Hagler, DUran, Benitez...if this doesnt explain to you why he cant ever get even in top 20 all time let alone the best, maybe he could be top 20 but would need a belt at MW.

:good Ali was no doubt best heavy weight

Floyd is a great boxer but even better at managing his own career to avoid REAL danger. I don't hate the dude for being smart or overly cautious at times when it comes to picking fighters:smoke

Me either. BUT, if he manages his career simply to protect his "0" and to maximimize his bank account, he ended up sacrificing his legacy in the process.

Hell even he admitted as much, we he said he just fights for the money. Other boxers fought for their legacies.

So now that he made his choice, he can't very well say that he also has the best legacy, while never haven't fought Pac.

(ie he chose money over legacy, otherwise he would have fought him)

Well its best when you combine these two, SRL and Ali made shitload of money in process of building their legacies.

I agree, and had he fought Pac when it mattered, he too would have made a shitload of money. Both would have.
