If Floyd is out, who should Pacman face instead?

If Floyd really does not fight manny and if i were Manny i would go after the 154 title just to make Floyd historically always look one step behind him....the only way Floyd could do something to mimc that move would be to fight Williams or Martinez but if he does retire and not fight manny his name will always have that question mark of was he really the best of his era.

 

Can you imagine what would the Mayweather's accuse him next if that happens.

Agreed. I've said this even before the Clottey fight.

 

Without Mayweather? I don't think any other fight could really enhance his legacy as much as this could; not even a 154 lb belt. We already know he's this generation's Henry Armstrong.

I would like to see him fight Williams. Even though it wouldn't be the attraction that Pacman and Mayweather would be it would be a good fight.

 

Yeah but what if he turns out and knocks some 154 pounder out with one punch? What would people say? I mean I know he knocked Hatton out at 140, but he putted Cotto down with one single punch twice, who else can do that? Not even margaritto with loaded gloves could. And Clottey was a punching bag all night long, he threw like what? 1 punch a round?

Thats why I want him to retire if he doesnt fight Floyd.

I'm STILL baffled at the number of ppl that are comfortable with the idea of any "PRO" ATHLETE to decline a $40 MILLION payday in exchange 4 a few drops of your blood being done randomly.... specially when the USADA has being doing this to all kinds of REAL PRO ATHLETES for a long time and never, EVER has this being brought up b4... furthermore, there's no scientific proof whatsoever that would back pacquiao in ANY way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For me, that's more than enough proof, say whatever u will........... BTW , the point of innocense until proven guilty is VERY WEAK in this case since the only way to prove it is him getting these tests done..... or , I guess we can always kidnap him and force him to do it, right??

I'll hold back on the stones for now. But I think calling for an interrogation is justified. To answer your question I'd like it plenty if someone tried to give me hell throughout an accusation. First of all, if I know I'm clean and I've been accused of cheating, it gives me a clear indication that I'm doing an excellent job and I take it as a compliment. I might even ask for a raise. Secondly, I'd have fun playing games with my accuser. Is he/she willing to place a bet? Proving my innocence could result in winning something valuable. As long as the test is within reason I'd have no problem with it. Why should I be upset about an accusation?? Crying about it would only make me look like a ***** and put a cloud of suspicion over my head. I'm in the driver's seat. It's a win-win situation. Judging by your choice of words you sound like you've been taking advice from your grandparents. Here's an old saying granny might've spouted to you once or twice: Don't get mad. Get even!

PS. Can you name someone else besides Pac who has had his type of winning streak consisting of brutally knocking out 3 or 4 bigger men who are considered top flight competition? If so, I'll wipe out half of the cloud of suspicion over Pac's head.
