1st off no way Floyd loses. Not even debatable. 2nd of all, Jacory Harris is P4P king under Money May.
1. ? If Floyd is going to fight his last fight, boxing has everything to gain from Floyd losing. Or even tomorrow. a Rubber match would be HUGE. A 3rd fight would be bigger than life itself. I shouldn't have to tell you that or explain it to you. It's self explanatory 2. Sure? Why wouldn't be? He beat Floyd, right?
If he got robbed in his last fight, it gives that fighter a platform and status to make a bit extra money. It would be in the promotion companies to do that. In reality though, If/when Floyd loses now, it's because he got old.
Pacman beat the #3 P4P last Spring. Who has this Andre Ward fought in the last two years to be regarded so highly? When has he fought enough to be considered active?
I question the entire notion of Ward being a top P4P fighter, let alone one notch behind Pacman. Does a win over Dawson now over two years ago and a win over Froch nearly 3 years ago really earn a high regarding for so long? Come November he will reach a full year of inactivity. It's time to move him from the rankings if he remains inactive.
If he doesn't fight by November, he should be off the list until he comes back and does something brilliant But right now, he's right at #2, where he belongs. What he did against Dawson/Rodriguez/Froch/Kessler/etc was nothing short of brilliant. :hey
Fighting once a year is still active, albeit low activity. 1 year of inactivity and I start moving him down unless he's OFFICIALLY retired. Otherwise, aside from inactivity, he doesn't drop rank unless he loses or someone does something spectacular to jump ahead. Pac just beat Bradley, Ward hasn't fought, therefore Ward goes down one, Pac goes up.
