If Floyd moved down to 140 to fight Hatton he would've still be number 1 and..

    pattersons a bit past it to be honest and he never made 140 before...but hey give it a go

    Hatton was more of a risk at 140, floyd felt more comfortable at 147 against him. The fight would have been even more competitive at 140, though.

    But it was easier to promote as the welterweight championship of the world and hatton was the one who called out floyd so he chased him up to 147.

    Terrified of?, who exactly are you referring to?, Margarito?, a guy who didn't accomplish in a division he has been in his entire career?
