i'd like to see two more fights, one being Pac. He has accomplished enough to call it a day, so I couldn't be mad at him for deciding to retire, it is a punishing career.

He still a 140 pounder? How many fights above 140 has he had? He had one fight at 140. If he really is a 140 fighter I guess he will fight Marquez or any Jww at that wieght

    Honestly, No.
IMO, Floyd would suit himself best to take the Calzaghe route.

If it's not against Pacquiao, then he can stay gone..

Physically, he could still make 140. He was at 148 for the Margarito fight.

Arum is negotiating for Pacquaio-Marquez in Nov.

I might have cared, a while ago, but not now. Floyd was the biggest name in boxing. But to fight only twice in more than 3 years, at a time when boxing is struggling to compete, is pretty weak. What other top sportsman has taken such a long absence in the prime of their career? It's fairly obvious he's a little too keen to keep his 0, if you get my drift.

    I really would care.

His skills are amazing. Would be a shame for him not to fight again.

Best defensive fighter and boxer of my era IMO.

Well, he's an amazing talent, the kind you don't see too often so, yeah, I would care.

Right now though, I'd just like to know for certain if he's going to fight again. I think I'd rather know he's retired than be kept in this limbo where we're all waiting (and waiting) to see what happens.

    Care?

I am actually hoping he doesnt(unless he comes back to fight Pac or Martinez).

    Ehhh,I dont know

It will be sad that such a gifted fighter like himself never lived up to his full potential.

no, last 3 fights were huge event but pretty lacklusture bouts and staying up til 4 to see him win a pretty boring unanimous decision time and time again is pointless 4 me
