 I know what you mean.... I understand your point, but others have done it.... Think about it.... what if Hatton says that this time he's actually retiring for good win or lose, and would like to have one more fight and he would like to fight Floyd again...... then Floyd could take the fight and fight him again.... you know what I mean $$$$$....

Pac did it with Barrera, a fight that was meaningless.....there was no need for that fight at all, but they fought, and all what Barrera did was pretty much to survive..... at the end of the day, or should I say at the end of the night they both collected a fat cheque.....

Floyd is a smart man...He know nobody will pay to see him fight Hatton again

The most logical choice is Mosley.I wonder what the excuses will be after he disposes of the Sugar Man

The only excuses are coming from Floyd as to WHY he won't fight SSM now.

Pac..he fightin pac man n thats it..as long as pac get the w against miguel than we gonna have a pac-mayweather fight..end of story..please stop with the bull**** hating buxzer cuz u gets no props with it..u make up more floyd threads in 1 week than i have made my entire time on esb...

U are obsessed with him man for real....even "floydettes" as u call them dont make as many threads about floyd as you...u really needa try something new in life cuz trying to debate with other boxing fans just doesn't work out for you cuz u let ur opinions get in the way of giving fighters there due credit...

Dzinzurik & Santos are not an options ... I can tell you this, Sergio Martinez should be on that list because Floyd is the champions Emeritus @ 154 and will be an immediate madatory for the WBC light middleweight championship.

    in order:

    1. Hatton (easy choice, he'll bring more money than anyone on that list
    2. Mosley (easy fight should Mosley be able to produce that kind of purse for Floyd/off tops w/o gate + ppv revenue)
    3. Williams (great fight - legacy fight - and the fight that will happen in due time ... as long as Williams stays level headed and doesn't go too far up in weight) ... I can assure you that if Williams were to win any version of the middleweight title that a fight can be made between he and Floyd.

I doubt that any of those fighters on the list other than Hatton can produce that kinda purse ... and i'm sure Williams will be huge but not right now.

Fitz I respect what you say about Williams and that fight comin down the road...I think it could happen too..Williams gotta do his part....BUT lets not forget that Floyd has to do his..I mean (aint gonna happen) but if Floyd got beat by lil pac than he wouldn't be in a situation where he could move up to 60...

First off...Mosley would NOT be an easy win. I know you think it makes you look ultra positive on a Floyd win, but cut the fanboy bull****. Not an easy win.

And second, if only Hatton brings the type of money you fanboys HOPE Floyd gets every time, why in another thread were you saying he may face Berto if he wins. Berto is the LEAST likely to help sell.

Third...enough talk about the purses....what an ass kisser... :patsch

What the **** you mean "aint gonna happen?" ... Floyd will outclass any fighter in the welterweight division ... there really isn't much to prove at that weight class, but there are bigger names and he can stand to make some good money against those guys ... Floyd is the best fighter in the world + best boxer (no doubt about that) and the only challenge for him legacy wise would be against a bigger man ... he's faster than anyone at welterweight ... and he's very smart ... I think the only shot that he has at losing would be up in weight ...

I can see him fighting (Junior) Chavez should he ever win a light/regular middleweight title ... or fighting Martinez (for the WBC 154 title) or fight Williams for the WBC middleweight title ...

Those are the only big money/legacy makers for Floyd above 147.

It's just that you were quoting me and then using all caps. No worries, and my bad.

Anyway, it all depends on how Pac looks if he wins.

You guys can say whatever you want about Mosley (not) being an easy win but when the fight comes the truth will come out and you guys know Floyd's track record ... **** he's undefeated. (almost 14 yrs running) No fighter today can claim that !!

There's NO way Floyds fighting Williams, no way!!. IMO ,he only came back so he could fight Marquez and PAC,making easy cash in the process.

Thing is, will he fight Cotto if he wins.....doubt it.

The most talented fighter of my generation just so happens to have no heart.
He's got the potential to be the best of all time if only he fought the best and bigger challenges out there.
The fact people are even considering the fact he might fight a shot Hatton again speaks volumes.
