Fight and beat Mosley/Berto winner and beat Williams and thats not a sure thing even if he does it.

Also, I cant see PAC/Floyd happening

same way Duran/Pryor. Ray/Pryor didnt happen

i think in the above scenario he's got a serious shot. if he beats mosley and williams then he's taking on the two most dangerous non pac opponents. that shuts up the critics and gives him some clout in his resume. but you're right, it's no guarantee. **** i don't know if he can do it at this point...

In a way theres the dilemma for Floyd..
He needs to fight and beat PAC and he can very well do it and he has no choice but to win to have any legacy at all.

Its a tough reality for the Mayweathers. Beat Pac and may still not surpass him esp if its a boring decision. Lose and Floyd will be remembered less than Winky Wright(who fough and beat some great fighters)

Team Floyd is thinking how to have a bigger legacy by beating Mosley and then retire but thats not good enough. He needs Williams which Im not sure hed want to fight.

Its really a dilemma, thats why Sr. is all rattled and ****

I would say absolutely the winner of Mosley/Berto

    Then Paul Williams.

After that, maybe move up to MW and unify.

The biggest things working against him are:

    1. He's not fighting anyone dangerous to him.

    2. Pac is the only boxer in history win championships in septuple classes. Floyd can't touch that, so he has to figure out something major.

Floyd can surpass Pacquiao if he actually cleans up the Welterweight division (Beating Mosley/Berto, Cotto, and if Paul Williams can make 147 still fight PTP) and then go up to 154 and get a couple of belts and may'be he could pass Pacquiao.

I think this would do it and if its semi impressive, hed be in SRL/Duran category no denying, yes ahead of PAC. No need for prove himself at 154

see the 0 is not that important to me anymore. in fact, I think most people feel the same. if he challenges mosley and williams and beats one and gives a good account of himself in the other, i'll have more respect for him and his resume will be richer for it

If he doesn't fight Pac, it will be the biggest duck of all.

Hes quite a few steps behind Pac ATG wise, he would need to totally clean out welterweight and unify LMW to even debate the two.

If Floyd wins a middleweight title though, along with everything above, then he surpasses him fo sure.

I dont think even beating him will put him ahead to tell you the truth.
