IF Floyd/PAC doesnt happen, how does Floyd surpass PACs ATG status?

    finding new opponents and beating them will only serve to set up pacquiao to fight the same guys and beat them more impressively.
    how you think pac took p4p status in the first place?
    you name two guys.
    here's where you are wrong...if floyd beats pacquiao, he gets full credit. boring? if it's easy for floyd, the prevailing perception will be that floyd is the best. after all he would have beaten the best and made it look easy.
    even if it takes time for that perception to mature. when ali beat liston, his critics took years to catch up. however, there is no problem dicerning who deservedly holds the greater legacy between those two today.
    take the long view.

    Even without PW in his resume if he cleans out 147 and get a title at 154 . . . I'll say good enough.

    Floyd gets full credit beating PAC but that has nothing to do with surpassing PACs legacy. Hearns beat Duran and hes nowhere close to Roberto.

    Time will favor Pacs accomplishment more no doubt.
