I really think it's not a wise fight for Patterson to take. I would still LOVE to see it, but I think Terrell would dominate with the jab. Floyd would go wild with the jab, and probably come on late on some point. I would love to see these two in a body exchange. I just don't see this as good for Floyd. He's TOTALLY dwarfed, and Terrell was very dangerous on the inside and the outside, and that's why i think he wins. One reason I would like this fight is that people would finally see that Terrell is not a peek-a-boo fighter!

Floyd Patterson was offered the winner of the winner of Ernie Terrell vs Eddie Machen fight for the vacant WBA World Heavyweight Title on March 5 1965. Terrell won it but was not impressive, Machen had him hurt in the 15th round, but Ernie was given the decision and title, the crowd booed the verdict. Floyd refused the match with Terrell and opted to fight Muhammad Ali on November 22 1965, Ali Stopped Floyd, TKO 12. On July 5 1964, Floyd beat Machen by UD12, in Sweden.
