If Floyd retired today would you rank him above or below Marciano?

    Hard to say. Both of their best wins were against older, faded fighters. I'd say Floyd might edge it for me.

    Nowhere near comparable. Louis was on a good winning streak and was a top contender, rocky was a young prospect.

    Erm...I'd personally have Marciano as my number 3 heavyweight of all time (although it is a bit of a struggle deciding between Foreman, Holmes and sometimes Lewis). Yes, I'd have Marciano above Floyd and probably above someone like Chavez? That sort of region?

    Rocky is in my top 25 atg floyd is in my top hundred.

    Louis wasn't even 50% of himself when he fought him. Louis was past his prime when he returned from the war. At least Floyd fought opponents in their prime.

    Well, Floyd said that he was better than SRR, so I guess that puts him above the Rock.
