If Floyd retired tomorrow, would you rank him ATG p4p, whatever, above Marciano?

If Mayweather retired unbeaten tomorrow, does he rank above Marciano for you, or not?

Right gents, here's a case for the offence.

    Amongst Marciano's victims are:

Ezzard Charles (unquestionably one of the greatest fighters in history, top 20 at HW, and according to a good enemy of mine, a fighter with more Ring ranked contenders on his ledger than anyone bar Ali and Louis)

Joe Walcott (the man who pushed Joe Louis hardest as the champion, unquesitonably a top 20 ATG type HW)

Joe Louis (old, but a top 2 all time for this division by almost any standard).

Archie Moore (ATG p4p top 20 lock)

His other defences saw him wipe out every single man ranked #1 in his division at any time, bar one. He is the only HW in history to retire unbeaten and stay retired thereby remaining unbeaten, an unparalleled achievement. Furthermore, the HW division is the toughest to retire from unbeaten.

Marciano showed the type of enthusiasm for taking on and beating the very best available in a way that Mayweather hasn't.

Marciano was also slicker than Mayweather.

If floyd retired tomorrow he would be known as an undefeated coward who didnt face a fighter, who he himself said, wasn't on his level and wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer:verysad:verysad:verysad

Marciano was the much better fighter... Higher KO %.. fought everyone! Void has fooled the world into thinking he's elite.. HE'S NOT!
