If Floyd retired tomorrow, would you rank him ATG p4p, whatever, above Marciano?

I will agree that P4P Floyd is better. And Overall, Marciano is better. He would beat the crap out of Floyd.

I think Marciano suffers from missing a great era by 3-5 years. Kind of like Steve Collins who beat both Eubank and Benn but a little too late to emerge with a huge amount of credit from it. Kind of like the wars were already over by the time he arrived at the table.

One mistake is more likely to end things against an inferior HW than any other division (Lewis/Rahman, etc).

Thus a HW has less margin for error if he wants to retire undefeated.

marciano did not cherry pick his opponents, he fought everyone available. He also doesn't whine like a mule, he knocked mother ****as out.

I hate that this is obviously tainted by *******ism. Look at the results on the Classic forum where Marciano is so loved and Mayweather so disregarded. It's a domination by Mayweather. *******s are the only reason for this poll result.

Floyd would be ranked higher. Not only that, but head to head Floyd schools Marciano just like Walcott was. Floyd is not that much lighter then Marciano after all and the talent gap is about as massive as it gets.
