Floyd is already listed by fans and boxing analysts as a top 50 ATG. Even back in 2008 they had him here.

I have Floyd as a top 35. He is already above Pryor. Floyd is arguably the GOAT at 130 as well.

 

He deserves to be rated ahead of Pryor on accomplishments, no question. Head to head at 140 is a different story. It's a close bout, but I'd personally favour Pryor. I can understand the opposite view, though.

 

Floyd is better than Pryor

 

Ring top 80 ATG which is not a perfect list but is still on of the best out there had Pryor at around 25. I think it's a bit too high for him and Floyd should probably be ahead of him. That said what lacks in Floyd resume and in Pac resume is a win against a top tier ATG in his prime. They could've tried to get this win as they are both top 50 but they decided not to risk it. Now even if they fight there going to be too many ifs in the fight.

 

Ring had Pryor way too high.

Mayweather is a greater fighter already than Pryor. Pryor is a very difficult match for Floyd though (as well as damn near any 140 lb fighter ever).

I loved watching Pryor. But, he is arguably not in the top 100, and for me, he isn't quite. Floyd is in my top fifty, and I do not rank active fighters lightly. Solely at 140, which you obviously don't mean, that would be Pryor all the way.
