1-how did he duck cotto??even cotto said he never pursued the fight and plus he was with top rank

2-how did he duck mosley??mosley turned the fight down claiming he had to get his teeth fixed

3-how did he duck manny when manny is the one who walked from the table and even filed a lawsuit over drug testing

As far as FLoyd being an All-Time great, I don't think he needs to prove anything anymore. But if he wants to be considered the GREATEST, I think it's too late for that. Unless he decides to do something crazy, like fight Martinez or something like that (which I doubt).

The fight with Pacquiao went to waste. That alone will affect his legacy.

Why Canelo? Canelo still needs to prove himself. He is not even ranked in the TOP 10 P4P list. Same **** with Trout. Both are good challenges but they aren't going to catapult his legacy to another level. It's too soon to tell.

Floyd has already proven himself. Guys just hate Floyd so much that they want to see a fighter pushing 40 in the ring with someone 20+lbs heavier hoping the size will be enough to beat him.

 

he has to at least fight the winner of Trout-Canelo. the other fights dont mean much.

 

3 years from now.... Floyd can't retire without facing Errol Spence Jr. He just beat 2 of Floyd's opponents quicker than he did. If Floyd wants to go down as great he has to beat Errol :tired

I really don't care who Floyd fights at this stage in his career. He can make all the money he wants and walk into the sunset. Hes not even close to how good he used to be. Hes 50% the fighter he used to be and I mean that. His legs were 50% of how epic he was of a fighter in his legendary skilled 130-135 days. He doesn't have that luxury anymore and this is why I could care less if he fights chumps or not. What I would really hate would be a bum beating Floyd, and people thinking that bum could even measure up to Floyd's ankles.

Maybe if he fought all the best fighters instead of cherrypicking if he fought Pacquiao a few years ago and won etc then maybe top 30
